Can't Get Paddle Out of BM bread without destroying the loaf

I have the morphy richards machine and what I do is use a chop stick to remove the paddle.
Poke the stick into the paddle ,note which way the flat edge of the hole in the paddle is pointing, then pull the chop stick at a diagonal angle ,leaning away from the flat edge so that it sort of scoops out the paddle .It does make a hole in the bread of course but it is about as small as you can get it,considering you have to pull through cooked bread . You need to do it almost at once so the bread is still soft, else it tears a large lump out. This does make a few slices have holes but they are still perfectly sandwichable .0 -
And if you make a big hole in the bread... breadcrumbs or bread and butter pudding come to the rescueHi, I'm a Board Guide on the Old Style and the Consumer Rights boards which means I'm a volunteer to help the boards run smoothly and can move and merge posts there. When I had a breadmaker, I got fed up with trying to get the paddle out, so I just used to use the machine to make the dough, then carry on by hand. My BM broke some months ago so I make all the bread by hand these days. As it's the kneading that's a pain, I will buy another BM at some point - I just haven't got round to it yet!KNIT YOUR SQUARE TOTALS:

iv admitted defeat....i have taken it back to argos and got a refund....i thought about the good idea to whip out the paddle which i think would have worked but i decidied i wouldnt remember to stand around waiting for the beeps......its a shame because the 2 slices of bread i got each time were nice....but im sure i could have bought a loaf in harrods food hall for the price my 2 slices were costing:mad:
might get another model in the future but for now it is back to doing it by handonwards and upwards0
