What is the difference between a Liverpool FC and a Pheonix?
The Pheonix can rise up again0 -
Errrr in the game I watched, Utd scored from a dodgy penalty and were then unable to get another goal against 10 men0

Not sure about that, one of my workmates is a Liverpool fan, and was only too happy to hop in the "Were gonna Thrash ya's" bandwagon, up until he texts me after the game with "!!!!!!".Hardly going to change overnight was it. The poor chap only had yesterday and this morning to talk to the team. I doubt any Liverpool fan truly believed we were going to be thrashing United today with the manager only 2 days into his tenure. Anyhoo.
In all fairness to the scousers, I did think the red card was OTT, as was the Penalty, but speaking as a Man U fan............:D:D:D:D:D:T:A:dance:1+1+1=1:dance::A

The sending off was fair enough for recent football but 10 years ago the very worse that would happen is Gerrard getting a yellow card and the United player getting told "Get up soft lad". The penalty was a joke and to be interviewed afterwards Berbatoss managed to say that it was a certain penalty whilst keeping a straight face was laughable.
I went to watch Bury away at Accrington Stanley yesterday and most of the tackles and challenges the players got up and played on without a free kick being given, had some of those challenges been against the soft lads in the premiership there would have been 4 or 5 sending off's and 2 or 3 penalties. Lower league football is much better to watch as it's still a contact sport in those leagues. If At First You Don't Succeed, Call It Version 1.0

Personally I feel sorry for the partners of all Liverpool fans. Personally I feel sorry for my husband to have a wife going "well once you hit rock bottom there is only one way to go" and "its only a game love - want a cup of tea" or "shut up I am trying to watch Come Dine with me"0
