What is wrong with parcelmonkey? I've used them for 18 months without issue.

No courier is 100% guaranteed never to have a problem.

I don't use couriers but I do follow the threads a little and it does appear that there have been more than a few poor reports on Parcelmonkey recently. That's why I htought there may be a range of responses if OP posted on the main courier thread, he can then choose from the suggestions and also take note of any issues that people mention.

Yes. You'll find they're nearly all from braindead morons who seem incapable of realising that even though things were moving in their own little universe in the month before Xmas, other parts of the country were knee deep in snow and ice and nobody was moving anything anywhere.

I think your use of language may make people disinclined to take any notice of your advice.

If you check the oPs other thread you will see he has a very good reason for not wanting to use parcel monkey.

If insults are to be thrown about then maybe they might be aimed more at a company that cannot even answer an enquiry.

Most people here post in good faith, and insulting people just because they don't share your opinion of PM, says more about you then those posters...
  • Well I got a little suspicious when I did a search for parcel monkey and there were loads and loads of people complaining about them recently. I used them about a year ago, and they were fine, but because of the bad vibes at ParcelMonkey I am going to try Parcel2go.com on the suggestion above. So you better perform Parcel2go, as I will report back and let everyone on Moneysavingexpert how I get on!

The main courier thread always welcomes current feedback as parcel companies wax and wane all the time and it is useful to know the current experiences people are having.

Parcel2Go are fine if all goes smoothly but if there is a problem they are a blooming nightmare - practically no customer support as they sometimes do not respond to their online chat sevice or, if they do, the responses are a waste of time.

I have had e-mail queries never answered when collections haven't been made and you can't get them on the 'phone.

Having said that, most of the time it does work well (using DHL 48hr service).
