Parcel2Go are fine if all goes smoothly but if there is a problem they are a blooming nightmare - practically no customer support as they sometimes do not respond to their online chat sevice or, if they do, the responses are a waste of time.
I have had e-mail queries never answered when collections haven't been made and you can't get them on the 'phone.
Having said that, most of the time it does work well (using DHL 48hr service). The DWP = Legally kicking the Disabled when they are down.0 -
So all the complaints over the past year before the Snow, Where they braindead Morons too?
I've sent hundreds of items with them, typical value never under £130 and up to £700. If there has been a delay or a missed collection (other than the snow it happened once I can recall), I've emailed them, received a response in a couple of hours and its been resolved.
You usually find the complaints are from those who haven't got the answer they wanted even though it was actually the right one.0 -

Parcel2Go are brokers so will have negotiated a wholesale price with PO (or Parcelforce) based on an projected number of consignments they will put through them. They then have to re-sell pretty cheaply to get enough business to maintain those projections so, to the carrier, you are a bulk user and benefit from the lower prices whereas if you go to them direct you are just offering them one parcel.0 -
I have opened my account with Parcel2go and use a pre-pay service. I want everyone to be aware that their collection and delivery IS NOT Guaranteed as everytime there is a problem I was told. I recently booked a collection. Collection made after the booked cut off time which was 5.30 and the factory was closed when the courier arrived at 5.52. I tried to contact customer service to rebook and their LIVE HELP mislead me by saying that my service booked was for 9 to 6pm so he refused to rebook and offer an upgrade to compensate for the lost time. The booking was originally for friday so i now have lost the weekend. I contacted their customer service 0871 330 8066 I waited for 20 mins and basically I was told she cannot help me to rebook because the rep has cancelled the booking. And so I contacted the LIVE HELP to ask to close my pre-pay account as i am so fed up of a) not getting the collection I booked, not getting the collection rebooked, lied to by customer rep, consistently told that the service was not guaranteed and that I SHOULD READ the small prints, and if i want to close my Pre-pay account I have to pay a £5 surcharge. This is CUSTOMER SERVICE. I will not use this company again on principle because not apologise for a failed service is one thing, trying to cheat you for another £5 when you have not got your service is another. And then of course the refund for what I paid already for a service that I did not get I was told it would take 5 working days to credit my account and if i wnat to close it they will take £5 out of my account.0

Seems like the answer is no yoyo
City Link allowed their business to choke with items during the bad weather. Some of us have been chasing parcelmonkey for two months regarding missing parcels. And getting nowhere. The mark of any business is how it responds to problems.
Interlink are higher cost, but I rarely see complaints about them.0 -
INterparcel.com
5 percent discount for logged in registered users too IIRC. Use all the top names and decent customer service0
