Hi all,
Can anyone help me on how to get out of my Orange contract because my area isn't recieving network covering, I have to physically either constantly stand next to a window upstairs or go outside just to get coverage. I have coped with this for the past 4 1/2 months and now its becoming a joke, however I do still have 10 months left on my current contract. HELP!!!!

Did you use their network coverage checker before you purchased your phone and signed up?
After this length of time I don't think you will have much luck getting out of it.0 -

you can now connect to tmobile signal as its part of orange so try
to search for network in your phones signal and when it shows t mobile select and voilaReplies to posts are always welcome, If I have made a mistake in the post, I am human, tell me nicely and it will be corrected. If your reply cannot be nice, has an underlying issue, or you believe that you are God, please post in another forum. Thank you0 -
When I purchased the phone I had signal because I lived at another address, a year later Ive moved areas and no signal on either network (Orange or T-Mobile)
They have told me once again to keep searching for network but its no good becuase if the network is not accessible how can I search for it?0 -

Unfortunatly as you chose to move, so you are unlikely to get any joy from the network with regards to cancelling the contract.
No network guarantees coverage inside buildings as theres too many variables in the construction of the house.
As has been suggested you can try opting in to the Tmobile coverage sharing scheme but sorry it's not better news.0 -
Orange's signal is poor to say the least. I know someone who worked in the retail shop and he told me that they have amplifiers hidden in the ceiling so that when you go in and complain they can say that there are not any problems.Estate Agent, Web Designer & All Round Geek!0

I love the rubbish your friend told you, I love it more you believed themOrange's signal is poor to say the least. Think I will try it during the week to see if it is true. I don't have a UMA phone, so that won't confuse the issue.
I could believe it in some instances - where a shop is inside an indoor Mall with poor reception or inside a big Tesco where signal strength is really poor. Legitimate use of equipment to enable buyers to test drive prospective handsets, given DSR return window doesn't apply to store-bought handsets.0 -
Why would he lie? This has been confirmed by another friend who works in their head office.
because
A) You'd notice if you were near an Orange shop as the signal would jump up
You'd see such amplifiers
C) They'd need licenses.
If they amplify the signal in such a way, There would have been an outcry by now. Plus a fair few lawsuits0 -
