Yes we had 2 rehearsals as my Dad cannot make the one tomorrow and he was getting in a tizz over it, so the vicar kindly agreed to do a mini rehearsal with him there

It will be good to get the rehearsal over with so that everyone knows where they need to stand etc. It is a little bit embarrassing though, it's ok for the groom as he can just stand at the front without having to make an entrance!

Ah ok,my parents live in wales so my dad wont be here,did ask the vicar if it was a must and he said no aslong as the rest are there then thats fine,he will just show me what my dad has to do and i will re-iterate.Our church doesnt have a proper aisle either,the doors are centre to the church so what i will be doing is hooking a left when i walk in and going down and then round the back of the chairs then up the aisle,since they changed it around they have made the aisle shorter

Hi all rehearsal went well,i gave the vicar the discs which were all seperate, 1 for guests, 2 for my entrance and 3 for register signing and exit.he said he will upload them onto the computer and use the ipod did say they will be sectioned so they dont get mixed up and he assured me they would,fingers crossed,thats the only worry i have eek.

going to collect my dress from my nans tomorrow and bring it back to MIL and FIL as FIL wants to photograph it with my accessories.must hang my veil up aswell so the creases drop out.

Well we have had one hiccup,my best friends girlfriend wont be coming to the wedding now,very annoyed with him as he had been cheating on her she found out sunday so we have got to re-do the one table on the plan grrrr tried to fill the space but its to short notice so going to ring venue tomorrow see if we can put meal amount to the evening buffet.bit of a nitemare but it cant be helped.

Haven't posted on this thread before but have lurked for a while. 4 sleeps to go!!
I'm quite poorly this week - chest infection, eye infection, thrush (sorry bout the TMI) Dr thinks I'm just run down with all the stress!!
I think everything is done (I hope it is!!)

Our rehearsal went ok. I forgot to ask about how we do the music though- whether we need to bring our own cd player or what. So will have to mail the vicar to see about that.

I'm gutted for you that the table plan has changed, yours looked so fab Hollie. Do you need to rearrange the tables or just have one person less on one of them? Have to say I would be tempted to leave the plan unchanged and then if ppl ask why there is an empty seat yoru friend can face the music and explain why!!

I am absolutely shattered. Slept really badly and when I did finally drift off had some bizarre wedding nightmares. I feel more tired now than when I went to sleep last night Work is going to be tough today and have to try and phone the florists in my lunchbreak as they left a message saying something is wrong with our order. Also need to phone the choir mistress and see what is happeneding as despite booking the choir 2 years ago it has just come to light that they know nothing about it:(- so not sure if they will be able to scrape together enough ppl to perform or not. Also need to oversee oh choose his suit as last time he just messed about with the best man and ordered the first one they saw in the window. They didn't even try it on and it doesn't look very nice, it is the wrong colours and a strange fabric for a start. And the best man is trying to persuade him to have canes as he thinks they are hilarious. He is a nice enough guy but this is our wedding day, not a joke!! :eek:
It's going to be a busy lunchbreak!!

Hello everyone,
Congrats for those that have already made it down the isle and good luck for those to come!
I'm much more organised now - got my band sorted, made up the bouquets, table plans, centerpeices and table names all sorted and men and children all suited and booted
However BMs causing uber stress, as MoH cant fit into her dress anymore! I said I'd alter it but then she text me saying she had taken the dress back (lost the recipt so only got half the price back) and she and my other bridesmaid had gone shopping and both bought new dresses, in a completely different colour!!! omg stress stress stress and to make matters worse she convinced my sister (BM) to buy the different dress by telling her the first one looked horrible on her!
So now I have tonsillitis -get it whenever I get too stressed
Apart from this 'little hiccup' however I still cant wait to become mrs.jenkins

With less than 3 weeks to go I have decided what will be will be

My bm wearing rediculous shoes - fine not the end of the world,

my little boys suit a bit big - oh well I'll turn the trousers up
The shoes I ordered for him are navy not black, oh well the black ones are twice the price, no one will really notice

My mum wanting different flowers to the rest of the bridal party - whatever!!

My groom still hasn't bought a white shirt. Oh well he'll get one eventually

I've made my table plan so if anyone drops out I'm stuffed but I doubt I'll have chance to make it otherwise..

I'm getting a bit concerned important stuff won't get finished but the little stuff doesn't matter too much!!

im having stress with my sister bm hippihaz got her a lovely dress but woman who altered it messed it up, got her a light blue maxi dress but she hated it and now decided shes going to get another dress and the colour doesnt match but i cba had enough lol.

Paid the photographer now so thats all sorted, need to email dj with music we want. My mum has done table plan etc.

bit miffed about oh dad he said his friends from work are coming for a drink on the evening do??? !!!!!! its not his party or open house so hoping oh says summit i havent paid for food for tom, !!!!!! and harry sorry moaning and ranting so stressed, tearful, had been taking tablets to clear skin and finished course skin looked great but now come out in spots grrr

Got to try my dress on last time and then i can take it back with me.

Tiara its just the one table thank fully,ive typed it back up and will just print it off later.going to deocrate the wooden well today and off to get the fizzy for the wedding morning and our extra night awat the day after.we was going to order the champagne at the hotel but its bloody awful and i refuse to pay £25 so will get our own lol

Tiara what a nightmare,i wouldnt be to impressed with canes,OH first best man (yes he had to choose another,the first was a let down!)wanted them to wear ivory suits, ha dont think so.
Fingers crossed u manahe to get everything sorted.off to collect my dress today and must remember to hang my veil up.

Finally finished making 14 pew bow type organza big bows tonight for our drapes and tables!

Also finished making the bridal party cards.

Dropped off music, vows and reading info at reg office, kind of brought it home to me that in 10 days Ill be there in me dress LOL!

Feel like Ive got tons of really annoying little jobs to finish now! ARGH!
