That's really kind, thank you. Do you remember roughly how much the board from Hobby craft cost please? :)

That looks really stunning Hollie :D I am very jealous :o

I don't think it would look so good with hand written names though. I am thinking with a chalk board it is kind of expected to be less pretty and more messy lol I'm thinking of the chalk boards you see in Lush and pubs/ restaurants etc. We are already having little chalk boards for the table names so I guess having big ones for the plan wouldn't look too out of place. Will be a nightmare trying to write straight on it though!!

Anyways hope you can put all the stress to one side and get a good night's sleep Hollie xx

    Thank you :)

Definetly printed names would be better but thats IMO
Chalk board sounds good, if u worry about writing straight is there anyone that has really good controlled hand writing that u know?
Im the same unless there is a line i cant write straight either.

Only other option would be to buy a printer if u had the money spare,i couldnt live without mine, its a printer, scanner and copier in one,got it reduced in argos from £60 to £40 last year.U can get them cheaper though.we printed the names on cards as it didnt look right on paper.

Thank you,i hope so to, a little drink always helps to sleep ;) x

    Hi Tiara,
If your venue will print it at A3, would they print a document you supply?
You could do the layout on your computer, save (or print) to PDF then either email them them the file or supply it on a memory stick.

Geek alert. I work in libraries. Even if u don't have a card, u can use computers and print ur docs off. Will cost a few pence but not tons! X

I'm not sure to be honest- the wedding co-ordinator just said if I gave her a list of who was on each table she would print it in black and white but that it would be very basic and would not be decorated/ embellished. Most ppl seem to glue decorations onto the finished plan so not really sure how this would work. I might speak to the co-ordinator again and see what she says- thank you for your help :)

Ah this is worth looking into, thank you :). My card has long expired but this is useful to know. The only issue is that I would want it printing onto card rather than standard paper & not sure if their printers are set up for this- I will give them a call and find out. Also, the last chance I would have to get to our library is about 10 days before the wedding, so would be worried ppl would drop out after I'd printed it all.

How do other ppl deal with potential last minute changes to the seating plan? Or do you all have more reliable guests than me lol :o
