Awwwww I bet they will look super cute :)

Have managed to tick a few bits and pieces of my to do list today. I've done a draft seating plan which I am reasonably happy with- I don't think it is possible to get it absolutely perfect for each and every person but hopefully everyone is near to someone they know and the ppl who can't stand each other are far enough apart to stop any fights breaking out!!

Not sure how to present it though- we don't have a printer. I've had the rest of our stationery printed professionally but can't do that with the seating plan as it may change right at the last minute. Bit worried that a hand written one won't look very good, particularly because my hand writing isn't the neatest :o
Plus we need to do 2 as the venue want to display on by the hall entrance and one in the garden that we are having welcome drinks in.
I am thinking about getting 2 big blackboard and using some chalk pens. Not sure in my head how it will look though, am worried it will be messy and naff :o

And from me too, hope your day is still being wonderful!

    2nd August pics (from friends):

Despite a spot of rain around the time of our trip to the Register Office the rest of the day was sunny, warm & breezy & it was a really happy, perfect enough day! I liked everything & the church service (really important to me) was brilliant! it felt *right* and joyous and the biggest compliment I heard was "I've never been to a wedding where so many people were all smiling & looking so happy!" The £30 vintage-style dress & my £5 home-made veil was univerally loved ;)

We had a fun trip in a golf cart for our 'official' pics and everything seemed to tie in really nicely - it turned out to be a big, fun, informal, happy family day. In the end we were over 120 people!

Thank you to all the lovely August 2012 people here 7 I apologise if I nipped in late & got the first wedding of the month (oops). I was a bit stressed this week but on the wedding day I felt happy, serene & ready for anything even after 3 hours' sleep the night before.

I wish all the other brides & grooms here a really wonderful day! Can't wait to see some piccies!

Wowser, we have our first photos! Congrats joolzred, I love your pics, you look so so happy :j:jI'm so pleased you had a wonderful day. Your dress looks stunning by the way- you would never have guessed from the pics all the trauma you went through of finding it!

Thanks so much for letting us know how it went and sharing some photos. :)

Do you know anyone with a printer? we have done our own can put pics up if u want a nosey. There is always someone who wont be happy so sod them, u have done your best and its only during the meal.

Had a stressful few days with family and rumours, have confronted them today as i dont need the stress,im an emotional wreck as it is at the moment!

My Mum has a printer but it's not very reliable. It sounds like it's on it's last legs and even when it actually works the quality isn't great with big patchy bare streaks running down the page.

Would love to see pics if it isn't a faff for you to get them on here :)
Our venue have said they could print it for us onto A3 paper but it would literally be a case of as list of names in a line, they won't do anything creative or decorate it to make it pretty sadly.

As you say, they only have to sit there for the meal, they can go and mingle with whoever they like after that, so hopefully ppl will appreciate this and get along!

Sorry to hear your family have been causing you problems. Hope you managed to sort things out- that's the last thing you need right now *sends hugs*
