As regards weather - our weather forecast was rubbish but apart from the rain coming down while in the register office in the late morning the rest of the day was sunny & not over hot - just a bit windy! so don't fret :)

    Hello,
Sorry to hear about illnesses - sending you get well soon wishes!
We have been given some extra cash from a family member that we were not expecting, and are trying to decide whether to buy champagne for the toasts.
Does anyone know how many glasses of champagne you get from each bottle, so we can work out how many bottles we would need?
I'm really struggling to sleep this week - I feel soooo tired but just can't switch off. Will be trying herbal nytol tonight as I need to sleep!!!
Weather forecast for Sat is heavy rain showers in our area so we bought a load of cheap brollies from Primark just in case!
    Good luck everyone.

Champers is usually 75cl - champagne flutes are never filled much over 1/2 way so you can get 7-8 glasses from 1 bottle, minimum 6 if you fill toasting glasses to 75%. Basic Champagne starts from around £15 a bottle, but a decent cava can outstrip a mediocre champagne & cost less :)

maybe see the doc, just in case - wouldn't want you fainting away on your wedding day!

Some of the things I wanted for our day I didn't get to do, and it didn't make any difference, not a blind bit so please take care of yourself instead :)

  • Well we got back yesterday from a short break in West Wales, we were lucky on Sat the sun shone all day, so much so we had to drink a bit to keep hydrated :)
and just as we got into our tent (yes tent) we zipped the door up and the rain came, you couldn't have timed it better.
Thanks to everyone for all their messages of support and tips etc in here, oh yes all the suits arrived and a full refund aswell.
