Cleanse, tone and moisturise - is it a ploy?

Another vote for the No7 hot cloth cleanser here (and another vote for stocking up on it when the £5 No7 voucher promotions are on
) It really does shift everything.
The only wipes I have ever found to really do the job AND not leave a residue are Morrisons Knock Your Spots off wipes, which really do remove all traces of my makeup, including my mascara. They don't dry my skin out and don't cause any reaction. I love the moisturiser from the same range, which is not greasy at all and really does the job. I don't use any toners at all these days as I found I didn't get on with any (and believe me I've tried a few!) At 31 I have finally found the skin set up for me - No7 hot cloth cleanser at night, Morrisons Knock Your Spots off deep clean cleanser in the morning with the Morrisons KYSO moisturiser morning and night, and the wipes used from time to time. With this lot and Revlon colorstay foundation and concealer + No7 loose powder, my skin stays shine free and soft all day (and some of those days are long!) I don't have any more problems with dry or oily patches, all taken care of now.

How much are the Morrisons KYOS wipes, cleanser and moisturiser
TIALife is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.

Imagine how I feel!:rotfl: However, I'm twenty years older than you so have had plenty of time to experiment with everything from water to Eve Lom - and I STILL rate No7 wipes the best. So there.:D [0 -
I use this stuff. I find I don't need moisturiser: http://www.handmadenaturals.co.uk/shop/shop.php?action=full&id=58
I do think a lot of the whole cleanse, tone and moisturise stuff is bunkum to a) maintain women's insecurity about their appearance and b) keep them buying more stuff. There are products like moisturisers which do improve the condition of the sakin but as soon as one stops using them the skin goes back to its original condition. Far better in my opinion, to leave the skin alone if possible. This obviously isn't necessarily applicable to people with very dry skin etc. but I don't think most people need to moisturise providing they're eating well and drinking plenty of water.4.30: conduct pigeon orchestra...0 -

I use it when I've been wearing make up. I rub it in with my fingers (or occasionally I use a cotton pad), then soak the muslin and gently rub off.
I find the muslin a bit flimsy to be honest, so I actually use a face flannel more often than not. I boil wash the flannel often, and swap them around.
A product I love even more than the No7 cleanser is :

it smells absolutely GORGEOUS, organic and very spa-like, and makes my skin so dewy and soft. You've just reminded me to pick up some more actually!

I still 1-2-3 it in the mornings, but otherwise i use my cheapy wipes to get off the make up!0 -

I rarely use wipes, I don't think they clean skin well enough. I use a hot polish cleanser aswell, have used No7 and am currently using The Sanctuary, I just like the feeling of heat treatments on my face and it definitely leaves my skin feeling squeaky clean
. I use a Rosewater freshner, toners I find too drying, and alternate between Facial Oil and a superdrug basic moisturiser with spf 15 0
