Oh no Tracey, that isnt good. Could you not ring around, maybe a few would have their honeymoon suite free. Where are you?

Ive just double checked the hotel down the road from our venue and that has our date free, although I was looking for my sister as we have decided to stay at our house because its just the 2 of us anyway and we will then be going on honeymoon a day or so later and will get 10-14 nights in a lovely hotel.

LauraR- I think thats a lovely idea. And the thing apart the name- I dont think is sad at all.

My Mum said that someone may offer to pay for us to stay in a hotel, so I said I wouldnt want to sound ungrateful but I can thing of other things I would much rather have and put that money towards. And my mum wanted me to pay £50 for our wedding car to collect us and take us home at the end- I was like no Ill get a normal cab- my mum didnt look impressed but a normal cab will only be about £8 max!!!!:rotfl:

Hehe, my oh has just walked on on me upstairs laying out how I want the sweetie table to look!!:rotfl:

well my train is rather long so it may be easier to ask for a 6 seater so I have plenty of room!!

well I have 4 medium jars, 4 small jars and 4 dishes so they will just be in rows and then a wine glass either side. My oh wants some dib dabs and bits so I may need to keep an eye out for some square vases or something for them.

You could post a few different pics on here and we can say which layout we think looks best.

    Hi everyone,
hope you have all had a nice bank holiday weekend! I am on my last day off, go back to school tomorrow.

Talking of cars, I've just booked an appointment for Thursday evening to go and view the car and hopefully put a deposit down.

I too will just be getting a normal cab (or a lift off someone, preferably!) to get home. We are going to need a hotel to stop in because we live quite a long way from where our church and venue is, it's over near where all my family live but our house is about half hour in the opposite direction - and OH's dad and brother will be bunking down in the living room, not really what you want on your wedding night :rotfl: Otherwise I'd have just stayed there. I'm thinking about seeing what I can get with my tesco vouchers if I don't use on the rings, they do hotel vouchers don't they. Failing that there's always the travelodge sale :D

What did you all think of the royal wedding on Friday? I must admit I was secretly hoping she'd have a dress with sleeves, hopefully all the high street designers will do dresses with sleeves on now! Kate's dress was very similar to my mum's dress that she wore when she got married with the lace sleeves, V neck and slight collar.

    xx
Ths signature is out of date because I'm too lazy to update it... :o

Hello everyone- Im in a good mood as ive just got a right bargain!! I was umming and ahhing over whether to get the strapless wonderbra and almost ordered it the other day, well ive just been to my local outlet village and discovered there is a wonderbra shop there and they were £25 (for the lacey one), and then they had another £5 off so it was £20- which is by far the cheapest ive seen it!! So :j!!

Good luck with the car Mel.

They can be used for various hotels- so could be worth looking into what is local to where your reception is.

I watched the royal wedding, and I liked her dress, although I did prefer her evening dress.

OMG I go away for a long weekend and look at all these posts I MUST catch up on :).

Unfortunately I probably won't get time today (well no that is a lie, read that as I shouldn't but hopefully I will lol!)...

For those of you not on my Facebook* MrD races motorbikes (think I've already said this but just incase I haven't) and this weekend we were away at Cadwell. Well on his last race of the 4/5 day meeting he came off his bike, had a nasty highside (where the bike spits you up into the air, and then you come crashing down onto the ground with a thump). He has a suspected broken collar bone - will be taking him to A&E later I think just to make sure it is as small a fracture as we suspect. (It's not poking through the skin, it's not all shattered into dozens of pieces, we think he's 'just' taken the tip off.) And because it's his right arm I'm playing nursey - lol. So I may not have as much time to catch up on here, especially now all my classes have started and I'm rushing around like a mad woman trying to get all my resources gathered!

    Hope you are all well.
    xx

PS MrD's shoes have arrived (hurrah) but he may not be able to try them on when he gets in cause he has hurt his foot and they may squeeze a bit too much (booo)
