Heh heh well we can't possibly comment until you've shared a piccie or two with us .... only then can we say you don't need it.... lol but be warned we might all ooo and ahh over them and tell you while you don't need them you should still have them pmsl!

OK... well I can't post a pic for some reason but if you go HERE and scroll down, there are a couple of examples at the side- the sceond picture down after the menu is a good example. Except mine would be turquoise rather than pink. If I was having it which I'm not because I DON'T NEED IT!!! :rotfl:

THIS is the main room we will be in (laid out differently) but we will also have a second room to one side that will be a quieter space - THIS shows the layout of the pub and we have the skittle alley, stable bar and the lower patio booked as well as the garden, but the disco will be in the skittle alley.

Sat watching a 4 weddings episode (the one with the RAF wedding, and Jewish wedding)... and I've just had a small panicky feeling - lol. I'm sat here thinking forward to when we make our vows... and the registrar tells us we're now husband & wife (or whatever they say).... omg how on earth will I react...? ARGH?! or YAY!?! Haaaa right now I'm thinking more argh pmsl. Is it too early to get pre-wedding jitters?! Hahaaaa Good job I do know I want to be MrsD properly!! Else I'd be getting very worried!

Lol REALLY sorry Mel but I think the uplighters look fab!! :rotfl:... Pah what is £90 between friends lol. Not helping am I?! If I could get the same effect outside in my garden I'd be tempted!!

Haha I'm gonna leave it for now I think, they said we can add stuff as we go, and do like what I do with shoes - try not to think about it and if they keep coming back to my mind I usually end up going back to get them. Mind you at one point I did have over 400 pairs of shoes so maybe that isn't the best plan of action

I don't really watch wedding shows but I hadn't even thought about how I will feel yet tbh. I reckon we will probably have too many other things going on in our heads for it to properly sink in right at that minute! Like, ok is my hair still in place, do I look shiny, does everyone know where they are going next, etc... :rotfl:

Do any of you think being married will 'feel' any different to just being in a normal relationship? Most of us have been with our OH's for a while, live together, some have kids etc - will the piece of paper and the ring change anything?

(ALSO - what are you all going to do with your mobile phones? I know everyone who normally texts will be there, but it'll be so weird not having it or a handbag! haha random thought there!)

Mel- that is a good idea about the up lighters, see how you feel about them closer to the time and if you still like them then go for them- I think they do look fab- and I think if the room where you are having your reception I think it will look great.

I used to like the range until I went to my local one to get some invitation glue and the very young sales assistant asked me for id!! I couldnt believe it and did have to ask if they were serious and how old you actually have to be to buy glue!!:rotfl:I was quite embarassed! I do love ikea!!

I havent seen that 4 weddings. I love four weddings. Oh does anyone anything about a live dont tell the bride?? Im sure they mentioned it on the radio but I have no idea how that would work!!

Im going to have a little clutch bag so will put my phone in it, people for the evening reception may not know where it is so I may need it then (well may delegate direction giving to someone else as 1) its my wedding and ill be having fun and 2) Im useless at left and rights!!:rotfl:)

Well I hope it doesnt change things as I am happy with our 'normal' relationship. Will just be nice to be a Mrs.

Lol yep very random thought!! Now I am very lucky in that respect - I only take my handbag when I'm going to work - it is like a little mini stationery cupboard - I have all sorts in there... when I'm just popping into town I will take my purse which is like a small clutch purse thing that I can fit my phone in. BUT if I'm out with MrD I don't take anything - even my phone. He'll have his cards on him so we can pay for anything, and his phone incase we need it. So I won't feel odd not having anything with me on our wedding day.

Ah yes - I must remember to obsess about whether I'm still looking perfect, whether I've put enough money in the parking, and whether everyone knows their way back to our house during the ceremony - lol that'll stop me from panicking lol.

Mmm will it feel any different? Part of me hopes not cause I love it just now... but then part of me thinks well if it doesn't feel any different what is the point?! I do suspect though that I'm going to be spending a fair amount of time just gazing at my wedding ring lol.

(Am off to look at outside uplighters now lol - I bet they won't be as cheap as the garden torches I'd planned lol)

Last year sometime I popped into Tesco on a Saturday morning to buy a bottle of wine to take to a party. In the queue behind me were a couple of sixth formers from school, also with alcohol... well you can guess what happened! I got ID'd and they didn't! They loved that one haha!

Ah, that's ok then Natalie, I will be lost without a bag! Might have to see about a clutch bag or just tuck it down my bra hehe.

Glad I'm not the only one rubbish with left and right - I went wrong on my driving test because of it :rotfl: I have a fantastic sense of direction but I go by feel not left/right
