Ooh, I am looking forward to giving people their gifts :)

Parents' gifts are due to arrive tomorrow. The beautification and pampering also begins tomorrow (it's a three day process ;)) - waxing and pedicure in the morning. And more packing.

Two *hundred* balloons??? Wow. Have you got a pump? It might take a while.

We've bought a gift for my best friend, who is officiating our handfasting, but I believe this is a fairly public forum so I don't want to say what in case she sees it! ;)

Oh, and the online shop I've ordered most of the altar stuff from is giving us expedited shipping as 'our gift to you' to make sure it arrives in time, even though it was my error that meant it might not in the first place. Now that's service!
I say we take off and nuke the entire site from orbit. It's the only way to be sure.

Oh that is good news GL. About time you had some really considering the fiasco over the passports!! Did you phone up?

Lol yea 200 balloons - well 198. It's to make 22 'cloud 9s' which will then be hung around the house and garden. And hell yea I've got a balloon pump, one of the magic ones that pumps when you squeeze AND stretch it (if that makes sense). I'm hoping to get his mum on the pump while I tie them up and then hang the ones up in the house.

I've just put bows on the garden candles. They are looking fab. And I've put the tealights in the jars ready for putting on the little wall outside and lighting them. :)

    Tomorrow's jobs:
Internet check in for flights (10am)
Tidy up (there isn't much to tidy really - we kinda did most of it last night, and I'm not hoovering again now until Saturday morning other wise we'll only cause more carpet fluff).
    Blow up balloons
    Tie balloons into cloud 9s
    Hang anniversary cards up

Jobs for the next day which I might do as well time permitting:
    Hang balloons around the house
Put banquet roll over the speakers table in the dinning room
Put Mr & Mrs spoon & fork out
    Put cake stand out
Put bouquet next to cake stand

We got a letter about the passport, he needs to send them his mum's birth certificate and marriage certificate so he can claim citizenship through her. His family are as British as British get, but you know what the government are like these days!

Thanks MrsDrink and FutureCooper. Still very excited! Might go to the gym this afternoon to burn off some of this nervous energy, but for now I'm waiting in for the parents' presents, which are due to arrive any time before 5.30pm. The tracking link says they're on the van on their way.

Now de-fuzzed and feet are looking fab with a french pedicure. My handsome groom is on his way home from work - can't quite believe we have 3 weeks off together :o)

Better get back to packing (I hate packing, because I like to have exactly what I want with me at all times - control freak :rotfl:). Will have to work out how much I can squeeze in my wedding handbag without busting the seams! Or convince myself to leave it all in the bridal suite - it'll only be a minute or so away after all.

Wedding supplies kit is shaping up:
    • Fabric plasters & blister plasters
    • Ready threaded needles in colour of men's shirts, cravats, & suits, bride's and bridesmaids' dresses
    • Safety pins - assorted sizes
    • Double sided tape, ribbon & pritt stick (for wayward stationery/ decorations etc)
    • Scissors & sellotape
    • Paracetamol
    • Facial blotting paper - in case I start to glow in the sunshine!:D
    • Eyedrops
    • Cling film (to wrap round shoes in case it's muddy - hmm maybe I'm going over the top now:rotfl:am I actually going to use this?)
