    Thanks :)

Well I have just taken delivery of the final bits for the BBQ :) (Am making some veggie skewers up just to give a change from all the meat and bread. MrD's mum is in charge of salad and pudding).
I have also trimmed the final hedge :)
Next job - get some soup on the go for my lunch today, tomorrow, and lunch for me, mum & Granddad on Tuesday. :D
Then while that is bubbling away I can get some housework done :)
  • Just had our tog meeting at the venue. Beautiful sunshine today. Pleeeease let us have this on all our days. We are going to have some photos taken at the driving range for fun and also a fab bench shot I spotted with the groom sitting and the bride lying her head on his lap with feet hanging over the edge. Very 'oven in a field' haha!!

Still suffering with my throat and headache. Boo for Natalie too. I am losing my voice slightly. I have had to cancel my evening with Bestest later as I can't risk her getting it as she flies to Australia on Saturday for her hm.

Off to get my head around the seating plan. X

See I'm now worrying (irrationally) about The Kiss. What if I give MrD my sore throat! He can't have it for diving!!!

More jobs done - scrubbed our bathroom so my mum can use it Tues morning without being grossed out. And I've power washed the bottom of the BBQ. Just need to do the grill bit :)

It is beautiful weather out there. Pleaseeee let it stay!!

Made a start on the table plan. Got damn blooming glue on a couple bits of the card!! You know when you get to point in the day when actually I don't care anymore. It's not perfect but I'll tell them it's the homemade look I was going for! Just need to buy some lace to create a border I think and then I'll post a pic. (maybe. It's not brill but I can't afford to spend anymore).

Sounds like Natalie has had another productive day. Can't believe your next. 2 more sleeps. I really hope you feel better soon. This throat thing is horrible. My headache is clearing thou and I have been out for a walk around the garden centre today looking at rose bushes for the parents.

Sad news on the family front - FSIL text today to say that mum and dad won't make it as mum is to ill and weak to travel :( FSIL bathed her and curled her hair yesterday and she was exhausted and had to go back to bed again. She won't be strong enough to travel 3 hours each way. I feel really sorry for H2B as he's so disappointed. I am too but it's his mum after all. So we are going to squeeze in a visit on the way to Gatwick the day after and take them some cake and their favours.

Hugs FutureCooper! That's a real shame your FMIL can't make it, especially for your OH. My FMIL is still not well, but hopefully strong enough to make the journey and enjoy the day as best she can. If any of your guests could take a little video footage, even just 2 mins of the ceremony, I'm sure she'd love to see it later.

Awww that is sad news Mel. ((hugs)) x

So after my last post I scrubbed the grill bit of the BBQ so that is all ready to go. I also finished dusting the house - all that is left to do housework wise is to clean the kitchen will do that soon, and clean the downstairs toilet and sink (yes you read that right - MrD has finished plumbing the downstairs toilet!! All that is left to do in there is grout). Oh and I need to hoover - but because the carpet is new it's still kicking up a bit of fluff here and there so I'm leaving that until tomorrow after work.
Oh I've also redone the tea light holders AGAIN - mmm should never have done them so early lol. (When I say redo - I mean put another layer of tissue paper around the jars and cut out the lettering that goes to spell out our names).
Oh and I've also printed out the reading my brother has asked me to read at their wedding in August and have put it in the photo frame I've got them.

So very productive. :) I should be able to have the evening off tonight. :D

Jobs left to do before Tuesday morning (I have added some jobs):
    *Clean the kitchen
    *Clean the downstairs toilet
*Put curtains up in my office for mum
*Put a table cloth over the TV Stand
    Wash down the patio
Give MrD his bits - suit, shirt, tie, shoes, shoe box, parents' gift
    Cut MrD's hair
    *Charge batteries
    Put alcohol in fridge
Wait up for mum to arrive at around 11:30ish
    Hoover

The ones with the * will be done today :)

    :j I cant believe your next Natalie. 2 sleeps!!:D

Sending you a hug Mel that fmil cannot make it, such a shame, but its lovely that you can pop in and see her on your way to Gatwick- when is it your flying out on honeymoon? Glad your meeting with photographer went well.

Well today I went down town with oh so he could get some new polo shirts for honeymoon- he needed some new work ones so he can take them away with him to wear with trousers if the hotel insist on him wearing trousers for dinner, then he can use them for work.

Thanks for the HMRC link Natalie- I will do that tomorrow once Ive looked up my NI number.

Grrr. Just went to do the API for our honeymoon and whilst checking it all it would appear they have changed our flight times again! Last time they changed the flights they wrote to us- but they havent this time, it was just because we checked! Plus if they have been the times they are now we may not have booked a hotel for the night before!

Grr - that is annoying about your flight times PinkPrincess - when are you off on honeymoon? I have no idea what an API is though!

Congrats on your progress at home MrsDrink. My list is down to 6 things (plus wrap parents' gifts when they arrive):

    Pack for wedding
    Pack for honeymoon
Choose video music etc (part way through doing this)
    Pick up groom's cravat
Pick up bride's dress & cake
Pay for disco on the day!

I'm working out my two packing lists now, and what I'll need to throw from one bag into the other, in the few hours at home between the wedding and the honeymoon!

House is still a tip though ;)

Does anyone know who I have to notify after we get married? We already live together and have joint claims for all the relevant benefits we get, and I'm not changing my name or title (staying a Ms!), so I have no idea if there's anyone official I need to notify or if we just carry on as normal?
I say we take off and nuke the entire site from orbit. It's the only way to be sure.
