Sharon- I think because of their ages I would ask them what they prefer and give them the choice. Bless you little one, , could you not some little cute slides of something- it may be softer on her head. And from what youve mentioned about your venue the birdcages sound as though they would look fab.0

I think your right let them make the choice I think they'll feel more involved then.
Hair clips are an option for Chloe but only if her hair grows a bit bless her she's not got much hair yet but saying that it's started to come through now so she may have enough for clips soon. She's got a thick chuck of hair at the back but the tops not thickened up yet bit like her Dad.0 -
:T My mummy has agreed to be one of our witnesses.0

Sharon - how about a fabric elastic hair band instead of an alice band? You could attach a flower (fake) to it to match your bouquet etc?0

Sharon- I once saw some pics and the flower girls had little rag dolls (but nice ones), with little white dresses on, I thought it looked really sweet, would your little one carry something like this or a little teddy? (im trying to think of flower alternatives!!:D). If you want something her hair you can get some very soft alice bands so you may be lucky.
Im quite lucky that my flowergirl is four so has longish hair and she should carry her wand! Well I thought she would be a little angel as shes usually very well behaved (so much so that even I offer to look after her!!) but when I asked her the other day if she was being my flowergirl she said no, she didnt want to!! Think Ill have to get my sister to have words with her!!:rotfl: I am however unsure how to do her hair- ideas please!!
:j at your mum agreeing to be witness Natalie.0 -
The florist was fab! Sooo enthusiastic and full of ideas (as always) and he is going to come up trumps with lots of the props that I want, so I can hold off buying some of the stuff I'd seen on eBay! That'll save me a fortune.
I am in such a good mood right now. Ahhh, don't you just LOVE weddings!!!!
I'm going to visit my mum over Easter so may not be on here much over the long weekend, so I'm getting my chats in now! :rotfl:
Sharon - at last, someone as indecisive as me!!! :rotfl:
Natalie - chuffed for you that your mum has agreed to be a witness.
Emma - maybe a braid around the front of your FG's hair with clips/flowers in it? It would look sooo cute!7 Feb 2012: 10st7lbs14 Feb: 10st4.5lbs

Good morning everyone! Well I don't have any jobs to do today - might pop to the shops again to get something tasty for tea tonight. But other than that I have nothing to fill my day up - ha be warned
Tonight we're going to look through the ceremony plan and choose the words we'll say, and begin to think about the readings and music. And talk through opening up the invites to a 2nd wave. So far we've had 6 nos, and decided against inviting 3 people, so at the moment we have 9 spaces.0 -
Hi all! On my phone so will reply properly later and read through all the pages of chat (you two know who you are...!)
Just off into town to go to the suit shop, I think I may have found a compromuse idea for oh to wear an ordinary three piece suit all in the same colour. I think it looks much less messy than the tail suit with the trousers, waistcoat and jacket all in different colours. I showed him some picture and I think he's secretly convinced too haha xxThs signature is out of date because I'm too lazy to update it...0 -
Glad you've been able to make a compromise

Well it's much quieter on here today :rotfl:. I think as the sun is back out today I might spend the afternoon reading a book in the sun
MrD has the day off tomorrow so we're going to tackle the tree/bush stumps at the bottom of the garden... and I will *finally* finish off the hedges - doing my head in that he hasn't been to collect the step ladders!! Lol.
Ooo forgot to say - got our prepaid master card yesterday with the money on for our diving and equipment hire :T.0
