Where did that weekend go??!
I should be reporting that i spent my time packing ready for the move next Tuesday but I didn't, i spent most of it eating. I have that bloaty horrible feeling today. I did lose another 1.5lb this week and i have had a measure up as i found my previous measurements i took after i brought my dress. I have lost 1 inch of back fat.
I am officially into losing 'Fresh Fat' now :rotfl:
Sorry to hear you weren't well enough for the 10K Lincoln run, Natalie. Hope your breathing easier today. (Huge apologises for my appauling drawing skills btw!!!!) Mel1 your spreadsheet sounds amazing. Emma i feel your hair dilemma. I have an appointment this Saturday to try and make a decision.0 -

JemB- Im so jealous your wedding is so close- are you all sorted?
Mel- you definately sound like a spreadsheet geek!!:rotfl: I did start highlighting my spreadsheet today, I reckon about half the day guests have replied, and a couple of evening, but I did only send them out last week so its good to have a few replies already.
Melanie- to be honest if I was moving I would struggle to eat healthy, and thats fab news about losing an inch.
My hair trial is tomorrow. Im having my hair cut and shes going to do a trial while im there, Im quite excited! The reason I wasnt sure about height and a side bun is I wasnt sure if it would look odd! :rotfl:0 -
Hello all, I had a weekend at my mum's so ate a little more than usual but tried to be good, am so nervous about tomorrow's WI!
110 DAYS to go (less than 16 weeks aaahhhh), that means I need to get very serious about weight loss now! An average of 1lb a week will shift a stone but I have been stalled since the start of March so it's high time I took it up a gear lol. I so want to look good in my dress, I feel fat and yuk atm!OMG my dress is ready!!!
Have said I'll go look at it the Saturday after I break up - in two weeks time - cause that will give me a bit of time to shed this yucky horrid bloated feeling I have at the moment from eating too much crap.
GULP! I so need to get my act together!! HELP!
WOOOOO HOOOOOOO!!!!!! :j
I see that you have until the 7th to lose an extra few lbs, good for you lol.Verytryingmummy wrote: »Only just found this I'm a July bride getting married 14th July suddenly seems real now!!

Natalie - urgh @ your dream!!! I didn't know what 'came on' meant but I think I can guess after reading the rest of it :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Wow @ all the weight loss (especially Mel) and spreadsheets! My spreadsheet is starting to get HUGE, it now has 11 tabs! :rotfl:I am turning into such a geek.Verytryingmummy wrote: »May be worth holding off looking in Next till Saturday as they have a sale on I found these shoes yesterday which I really like, my young bridesmaids have butterflies on their dresses so they tie in nicely

a bargain at only £28 but the shop assistant said not to buy them as they may be in the sale so I'm going to wait till that's over might save myself a couple of pennies :rotfl:
Wishing you all a happy Friday
They are gorgeous - not enough height for me but soooo pretty.
Shame none of the wide fit bridal shoes went into the sale but they're all very cheap to begin with so we'll forgive them.PinkPrincess83 wrote: »Wanchai- I really like the first next shoes- I know you wont fully see them but I do think though if the lace is very different to your dress it could look a bit mis-matched. I agree that there are some lovely shoes in Next, Ill have a look online tomorrow to see if any happen to go in the sale- I got my older bridesmaid her shoes in the Next sale and they were a bargain at £14. I would probably say your better off ordering them online rather than getting them instore as they are less likely to have marks on them.
Good points! I will buy a couple of pairs and that'll give me an excuse to go to the dress shop to compare the fabric and colour (and maybe try on my dress again). When I decide on the actual shoes, I'll buy them online to get a pristine pair!! :T
Lauralou - I'm having vintage style centrepieces, no idea what exactly yet but I have a mental image of what I'd like. Meeting the florist again this week! :j
Emma - I've seen Adele with a side bun with height and she looked fab. I'm also trying to decide on a hairstyle, it's tricky xxx
p.s. I have a FAB idea for reception decor but can't say what it is yet.7 Feb 2012: 10st7lbs14 Feb: 10st4.5lbs

Ok Ive decided Im going to start boring you with my food- it really helped before and since Ive stopped Ive been terrible! I would at least like to lose 2.5lb so I reach my stone, more would be good but I like working to small targets!!:D
Today
Breakfast: honey nut shredded wheat with semi skimmed milk
snack: banana
Lunch: salad consisting of green leaves (spinach, lambs lettuce etc), cherry toms, cucumber, raw mushrooms, new potatoes, spring onion and ham
snack: apple
Dinner: chicken breast with a Jamacian Jerk coating, rice (cooked in some stock with sweetcorn and peas and salad (similar to above)
Snack: Mr Kiplings whirl (as I had more than enough cals left)
So Ive been relatively good today. (no evening snacking for me!!)
Very trying mumming, I really lke those shoes, I got some very similar ones in the next sale a few months back for my older bridesmaid, they just dont have the butterfly, its just a sparkly shaped thing!! (and they were a bargain at £14)
Thanks Wanchai- Im off to google adele to see if I can find! anything!0 -
Hi everyone
I am having a well earned night off tonight, no gymBut I do have a few things lined up for the rest of the week. Swimming tomorrow, combat Wednesday, zumba on Thursday and a double dose of body combat followed by body pump on Friday!
My dad has been having a play around with ideas for centre pieces now that we know how many tables we will have, and I think I am going to go for something like this: (hope the photo works, please ignore the 'specials' board in the background lol)
The idea is that the wooden base at the bottom is covered up, underneath a slip cover as it's just to add a bit of height. The slate (which will be a slightly bigger one) then sits on top of the slip cover with the tree on top as in the picture. I am going to have a different type of tree on each table.
The place where I'm having the reception is right in the middle of a place called Swithland Woods, and the area is famous for its slate (which all the buildings around have on their roofs) so my original idea of just going for the cheap option actually ties in quite nicely!
Hehe Wanchai I love spreadsheets - so sad!
Well done for being good Emma, sounds like a good day so far!
xxThs signature is out of date because I'm too lazy to update it...0 -
