So I've written out cheques and cover letters for the rest of the tables and chairs. Will post them on Thursday.
Have also ordered MrD a dive computer :D
    Now to do some housework...
  • :j on getting more rsvps. I need to start recording my rsvps on a spreadsheet- I keep putting the rsvps to one side but not all in the same place so I could end up getting confused!

Natalie- Hope your feeling better soon.

I havent been great the last 2 days foodwise, yesterday I went to a baby shower and there was a baby shower with proper crisps and cupcakes! and then I went to my mums and she was having pizza hut, and I had a chicken pasta alfredo and a slice of garlic bread.

I was hoping to pop to ohs mums today to get my tiara and I was going to take some pics of my lovely flowers- but she was popping out so dropped my tiara in to me, so ull all have to wait a bit longer!:rotfl:

:rotfl: I'm sure another few months of waiting won't kill us :p

Well we've blitz the house - just got the bedroom to hoover when MrD has finished buzzing his hair off.

Lol of course you would all expect this of me anyway - but yep I have a page on my spreadsheets for guests RSVPs. It has their names, what part they were invited too and whether they are coming or not. Then along from that is whether I need to email them (or post out) a list of accommodation, instructions for the morning of the wedding, and a list of taxis. I plan on emailing (sending out) these on the cut off day of the 17th May (unless we've been asked beforehand - most people have already had the accommodation list that need it what with it being the first Saturday of the school hols here).

Right next job - pop to B&Q and get some stump killer. :) A woman's work...

Oh I had a weddingish dream last night - it was a few days before the wedding and I dreamt I came on (look away now if you are squeamish), it was proper gushing with clots - the works. I remember being really worried about the wedding day!
:) I am so glad I double dose my hormones (with doctors permission) so I don't have periods at the moment (which also helps to reduce my spots).

    Yuk Natalie- that is gross!!

Well I was going to have a go at loading up some pics today if I had some pics of my bouquet!

Ok I may have changed my mind about my hair, I really wanted a side bun, but I also really want a little bit of height at the front, so if I cant have height and a side bun I think ill have to have height and a bun at the back- because I think overall height will be more important than where the bun is- Im going to research this now!!

Ha love the height vs bun position debate!! :D I want to achieve height at the crown of my head with it kinda flat at the forehead. :)

We're putting our rsvps in an album with our engagement cards, which will also hold our wedding cards.

Oh flippin heck I forgot about wedding cards, what on earth am I going to do with them all lol! I don't really do albums and clutter. I bit the bullet and chucked the RSVP card away lol.
:j on getting more rsvps. I need to start recording my rsvps on a spreadsheet- I keep putting the rsvps to one side but not all in the same place so I could end up getting confused!

My spreadsheet has a 'guests' tab - it has a list of who's invited and to which part, and then a separate column gets filled in for if they have rsvp'd. Putting a 'Y' in this box turns the name green and adds to the 'attending' total, an 'N' turns the name red. Because I'm a spreadsheet geek (Natalie you will appreciate this!) the numbers in the 'attending' total get transferred into a table which works out how much everything will cost based on which part of the day they are coming to :rotfl:

I've had a lovely weekend, did body combat at the gym yesterday and then a nice afternoon at the football, it's so good to go without having to wear a coat and be all crammed in! Then today I tried my first body pump class (it was brilliant!) and then we went for a long walk around the local wildlife reserve park. Just gutted to have to get back to work tomorrow lol.

Much of my Easter holiday will be taken up with marking, I will probably go into work for 4 days to get it all done. Every folder takes about 20-45 minutes to mark and I have 64 of them to do this year. I've also got to mark 27 A and AS level folders but I'm going to try and get them done during the week.

Can't remember if I've already said this but I've paid off the honeymoon now - suits and DJ next month and then it's just the church and food to pay!

Emma, you should deffo be able to get some height on a side bun - I'd imagine its all about texture to give it a raised effect!

Hope you are starting to feel a bit better Natalie

    xx
Ths signature is out of date because I'm too lazy to update it... :o

just spent a lovely day with the outlaws to be, went to Tetbury to look at an art exhibition, saw lots of lovely pictures and bronzes and gives me ideas on what to get FIL.

Funny thing yesterday evening, was having a moment on when to book a leg wax, and remembered that I have an epliator, so sat in front of tv and did my legs, poor dog wondered what was going on :) luckily for her H2B will be back from Dartmoor tomorrow, chilled out on sofa with dog now, she appears to be my friend again :)

If it's going to be nice again tomorrow I really don't want to be stuck in the office... shame I can't just phone up and tell them I'm working from home tomorrow. Got to be in as have preparation for two exams next week, only found out I will be invigilating the second one late on Friday, got a little tetchy with the academic concerned, I'll probably take my laptop in that day and do wedding stuff, or see what things we can get up too on the Island.
