Oooh Michelle your list is coming along nicely.
You have reminded me to check if there is a Register office fee increase after April. I can not for the life of me find my way round the damn Lincolnshire website!! Grrrrr . . . I have found the fees page but it won't load. My error or theres i don't know. I heard a rumour on another thread that fees are going up considerably in some counties.
18 more Fridays for me and time is flying by. I move 2 weeks today so i have plenty to keep me busy and i have started getting asked about a Hen night as well. Hadn't really thought to much about it other than Center Parcs with my work group and fellow bride. Money is too tight so it'll a cheapy one for me. Whats everyone else planning??0 -

Thank you Mrs Drink,
I feel like I'm slacking.
I've got my dress, venue and church sorted
Put the deposit on the car today and chair covers, photographer's all booked, and the cakes being made by my oh's Auntie oh and just need to ring up and pay the deposit on the entertainment really must make that phone call.
I have an appointment with the florist tomorrow just choosing between two and trying on my dress again with the MIL to be as my Mum passed away in December she wanted to come with me and help towards it which I thought was nice of her.
My younger bridesmaids dresses have been ordered but still trying to chose the adult one's found some on Jenjenhouse.com just waiting for a colour and fabric sample to arrive before we order.
The men are getting measured on Saturday.
I'm finding it really hard to find centre pieces at the moment, lots of ebay searching to come!!
We had our bands read on Sunday which made it really sink in, now must stop eating over ate all weekend don't think my dress is going to do up tomorrow.
Exciting stuff

Welcome to the thread Verytryingmummy. As you can see we are a very very chatty bunch.:D Hows your planning going?
Well I have a hair trial booked in for next week. Its my usual hairdresser and she is cutting my hair anyway so said she will do a trial while im there! Only thing is ohs mum is having her hair cut the appointment before but Im going to insist she has to go- or I wont have a trial!! (This slightly worries me as she went extremely MOGzilla on us a few weeks ago but hey ho, if my mum isnt going to see my hair until the day his mum isnt either!:rotfl: The other fab thing about this friend is doing my hair is she is the one that actually made me text oh all them years (11 years) ago saying 'you only have to go for a drink with him, you dont have to marry him'!!:rotfl:
Oh I really really need some motivation to be good! Ive been pants this week!0 -

You and me both
I've been terrible I've put on a stone since December and I'm dreading trying my dress on tomorrow! I'm lucky as I lose it quick but also un lucky as I gain fast too, hopefully trying the dress will give me the kick up the backside I need.
Good luck with the hair trial I hope she dosn't get too upset I'm finding it really hard to please every body but I'm sure you all are. I just have to keep telling myself it's our day. Plans are getting there I've been really slack so having a couple of really busy weeks to try to get organised, how about you?
I'm hoping to get the invites out by the end of next week all going to plan:)0 -
Theres a few of us trying to be good at the mo to fit into our dresses so if you need encouragement your in the right place!:D
Its so difficult to stick to doing what you want without upsetting others. We have had a few issues but mostly it hasnt been too bad.
I posted the last of my evening invites out today so thats all invites out now. :j I want loads of rsvps now!! We did have a giggle at work today singing lines to our fave songs as I had put a song choice request on the back!0 -

Love this!:) That needs to make its way into somebody's speech.
Hello Sharon, welcome to the thread. You do sound like you've organised lots of the major things, so you're doing well.
Nothing weddingy for me tonight, unless you count a bit of exercise to help fit my chunky monkey bits in the dress. The end is near for my big deadline at work next week, and not too many disasters yet, so hopefully can focus on wedding planning and exercise afterward. We go to print on Thursday, so tomorrow I migt be pulling my hair out...0 -
Baby boots- I dont think it will get mentioned, especially because the main reason I was on my own and got talking to my now oh is because my hairdresser was too busy kissing ohs friend (we were only 17/18!!:rotfl:), and this friend is our best man!!:rotfl: (and the wedding is probably the first time in years since theyve seen eachother!!)
I did a bit exercise dvd, was going to go to the gym but there is football on tonight and traffic can be a nightmare so I decided to give it a miss! Ill go tomorrow!0
