I don't know about church weddings Mel so I can't really answer - I know with our registry office ceremony they have said guests should arrive 15 mins earlier. And on our invites I put the time of the ceremony, but if there is any ability you could put: Date... Time 1:30 (Ceremony at 2:00). Or something.
    :)

    Okay today's diary:
B - 1 english muffin toasted and a teaspoon of butter
L - left over bolognaise with boiled veggies
T - lamb stuffed with apricots, cranberries, rosemary, spring onions, breadcrumbs and egg to bind, served with dry roasted veg
    S - 2 thorntons chocolates (approx 39 calories each).
    E - (it wasn't very vigorous) about 1hr 30mins diving up to 3m in a swimming pool

All bar two invites either delivered by hand or put in the post box, H2B delivering last two tomorrow on way home from work.

    MIL gave verbal RSVP :)

Oh yeah, that's a good idea actually, to put arrive 1.45pm for a 2pm start, or something.

You know me I'm not massively fussed on the wording - on the evening invites I gave out last week I wrote at the bottom "Please RSVP via text, facebook or email by 1st April :)" :p

My bridezilla friend who is doing her wedding 'properly' was so disgusted in me :rotfl: because they were handwritten and because they didn't include RSVP cards :rotfl: I never fail to disappoint her!

DISCLAIMER: I know this sounds vain but my handwriting is very pretty which is why I'm handwriting them - I wouldn't be if I had scruffy writing!! I had a really random part time job whilst I was at uni writing out invitations and documents and things that people wanted handwritten but didn't want to do themselves :rotfl: It's not calligraphy or anything, just sort of neat and swirly!

    xx
Ths signature is out of date because I'm too lazy to update it... :o

I've not included RSVP cards in mine, I had bad enough time just printing out the inserts... so couldn't be bothered doing any more printing than that :)

Sounds like she'd be freaked out by half of the stuff us July brides are getting up to! :rotfl:

Just had my tea - the lamb stuffed as I described above and it was beautiful!! Sooooo tasty!! :D Will definitely be doing it again! (Just got to check the scales in the morning lol).

:T Yaaaaaaaay Michelle for getting your invites out and an RSVP. Well I have received an RSVP from my mum and granddad (yep via email just as requested :) ) they are both coming to both events, but unfortunately my mum's boyfriend (since I was in year 8) isn't coming to either - he doesn't do weddings/funerals/christenings etc, and he doesn't drink so finds 'boozy parties' (as my mum described it - love her!) boring. Am a little bit disappointed by this - would have liked him to have come along to the party but totally understand him not wanting to come (he's a bit of a social hermit and it wouldn't have been nice for him).

    *edit*
God I am so confused by all you M-named people!! Sorry Michelle I have no idea how long I've been calling you Melissa for! And then there is Tracey who is a honorary M-named person in my head. I am crap! And the worst thing is once I've got it wrong once you just KNOW I will keep calling you it... I'm the same with kids at school!

Ok, Ive done well for the rest of the day foodwise

    Todays food:
    Mr Kiplings slice
    Nutella crepe
Roast chicken breast, new pots, veg and gravy
    2 weight watchers biscuits

    25 mins of fitness dvd.

Natalie- your dinner sounds so yummy. :j on getting an rsvp. Its usually my oh thats the unsocial one in our family, we compromise on one family event a year, so obviously this year thats our wedding!:D

I included rsvp cards- but only because I was ordering some evening invites off vistaprint so it didnt work out much more for the rsvp cards- but I am worried people are noticing them (when ive been with people who have opened them the rsvp seems to fall out unnoticed!)

I havent been around much recently but have been busy on the wedding front:

Got OH, my dad, and Best mans suits sorted.
    Booked Hog Roast
    Booked DJ
Have delayed wedding by 30 mins so now 11.30 instead of 11am, still early but at least slightly better.
    Have booked make up/hair.
have booked hotel for night before and wedding night
have all the alcohol for the bar for the night (what made me decide to do a free bar for the night i dont know but at least its done now only soft drinks to go)
Have made all the invites but broke the printer on the rsvp cards so need to get OH to print at work then can send out.
Got all the sweets for the sweetie table
made bottom layer of fruit cake 12inch, only 3 more fruit cakes (2x10 inch an 1x8inch) to make and then 3 tiers of sponge! Have bought the cake stands (yes i know 7 cakes is toooooo much but making cakes is my passion)

Think thats all of it but am starting to feel a little happier now as things are happening.

    Take Care all
    xx
