Wanchai!!!!!!!!!!!! You can't write that and then disappear!! ARRRRRRRRRRRRRGH!! I demand you come back and tell us NOW!!!
Training Run number 4 done - 6.53K done in 40mins 48secs. (My 5K time was 30:56 which is rather respectable!) Doing the same run on Wednesday - but going mental uphill and gentle downhill... eeek!
I agree . . . . WANCHAI, get yourself back on this thread with immediate effect. As the oldest on the thread I have given myself the role of mum and i have to warn you if you read and run again you'll be on the naughty step!! :rotfl:
Well done Natalie on the run. I am very envious of anyone that runs. I just can't do it. I am so unfit and exercise is my biggest downfall. That said i have lost the 3lb i put on over xmas - so i am seriously considering joining Slimming World. I feel i need the focus and discipline.0 -
I'm considering a class too just to keep me on it. Lost 3 and a half lbs this week and have only had one cheat of a bit of cake but back to gym tonight again. Hopefully I can make it last longer than my usual 2-3 week stint before getting bored and getting back on the junk food0

Well done on the weight loss! I like Slimming World and i do follow it at home but its so easy to say "well just this meal out will be ok" and then it starts on a slippery slope for me. I hope by going to a class i have to stay focused for longer. It is half price membership at the moment as well. Once i have all the new 2012 books after a couple of months i could go it alone but not until i have shifted at least a stone with the class. No pain, no gain. . . or should that be loss!!0 -
Wanchai- you cant leave us all in suspense like that!! I did laugh at Melanie putting you on the naughty step!
Well ive been good today food wise (dinner was naughty but I had been good all day) and I did a good work out so Ill let myself off! Im shattered now but do feel better for going to the gym!!
I want something wedding related to do!!0 -

Wow so many of you are losing weight!! Putting me to shame!! (Last two weeks I've put on lol - this week *IS* going to be different!)
Emma - I want something weddingy to do too!! *stamps her feet*.
Melanie - tonight's run was bloody hard - don't know why - my head just wasn't in it from the start. The last 1.5K was very hard going and for a moment I wasn't sure I was a runner either! BUT if I can learn how to run anyone can!!0 -
Natalie- thats exactly what I say- if I can run the great south run (10 miles) and run, although at a slow pace the whole thing anyone can do it! I have short stumpy legs which really arent built for running- so now when I go to the gym I do cross trainer and if I go on the tread mill its power walking uphill!!
Glad its not just me stamping my feet!!0 -

I probably could go bra less as my dress is very well structured- but I just know I would feel happier with something on underneath. (just me being probably a bit odd!!:D)
I cant believe we still have over 6 months so go and we have reached 4000 posts!!
Nothing wedding related from me today.
I feel weird without a bra on too Emma, even if what I'm wearing doesn't need one - just feels wrong somehow! :rotfl:Oh that is pants Mel - do you break up in another 5 weeks though? (That's when my half term is). I've got a bitty week this week, but after a week in the office I'm looking forward to getting in my schools and teaching!)
Yeah we have a half term in 5 weeks so it's not all bad! That'll be invitation half term I think! I've had quite a good day today because I only teach 6th Form, and tomorrow I've been really jammy because an English exam has wiped out 3 of my year 11 lessons! So I will only be teaching one y12 class and then I've got 4 free's whoop!Wow so many of you are losing weight!! Putting me to shame!! (Last two weeks I've put on lol - this week *IS* going to be different!)

I am really proud of myself tonight because I ran for 8 minutes solid :rotfl: that sounds rubbish compared to 10K lol but it's amazing for me! I usually powerwalk uphill too Emma, you're not the only one! But I have been trying to train myself into running. I started my new regime properly today, it just wasn't worth it last week with all the dregs of Christmas choccies hanging around! I've been good foodwise and been to the gym, didn't quite do my full weights circuit though as it was so busy (must be all the other new year dieters lol).
Oh and WANCHAI!!! Get back here!!!
xxThs signature is out of date because I'm too lazy to update it...0 -
****UPDATE****
OK, sorry for driving you all mad earlier - was in meetings ALL DAY, had a quick browse on MSE and then had to rush off straight from work. I've been bursting to write a big long post!:rotfl:
So... after doing NOTHING weddingy for 2 whole weeks....
I ORDERED MY DRESS!!! Whooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :j:j:j:j:j:j I went with the shop dress in the end as I am too scaredy-cat to go to the dressmaker. I love it to bits and am so glad that I chose it. I'll get the estimated arrival date next week.It was very scary handing over the 50% deposit but I did it!
Not only that, I think I've picked my BM's dress too! It is AMAZING, soft chiffon with a bateau neckline, oh I adore it. She looks stunning in it. I just need to decide on the colour, might post a link so you can all vote. Plus I ordered the BM's shoes on the KG website, with the £20 Elle card and the welcome discount they were only £15!!!!!http://www.houseoffraser.co.uk/KG+January+court+shoes/160701269,default,pd.html?cm_mmc=Googlebase-_-Women-_-Shoes-_-January+court+shoes&istCompanyId=17910aed-1bae-4362-9580-b523eb87a91e&istItemId=ilwilmpx&istBid=t  Please God let them fit her!
AND I sat and decided on all the readings and prayers for the ceremony and who's doing them.
AND I had a chat with a wedding stationery person... their design are FAB but the prices they're quoting are a bit scary tbh! How much are you all spending on your stationery? Is it acceptable to hand deliver what you can to save on postage????
Now I'm pooped! :rotfl:PinkPrincess83 wrote: »I like to have a list to give me some guidance but I dont like being too organised- cos then I start flapping and faffing when things dont go right!!:D
What are you all doing the night before the wedding? where are you staying? Im hoping oh can stay at his mums so I can stay at our house with my 2 bridesmaids, get a take away and just chill, then will head round my mums in the morning.
I'll be at my mum's for a few days before the wedding including the night before... can't waitIt'll be a really nice time for both of us. My BM will come and stay the night before the wedding and we can all chill out together.

To all the rest of you - yay for all the shoes, OH's suits, bouquets and all the exercise you're doing! Amazing work ladies :T:T:T:T I wasn't that good over Christmas, was amazed that my dress zipped up again on Saturday so at least I haven't gained weight! The total body transformation starts here!
MrsD - I am truly impressed at your list and am going to compile a detailed list of my own, as I still have a shocking amount of stuff to do!
