have made my posy again! Lol this time I've tied it up with a ribbon. I'll show MrD when he gets in see what he thinks (lol not that he really has a choice cause I love it). Although I'm not certain whether I can use them for a button hole- they may be slightly too large but will get him to try one to see what he thinks. (lol I'll give him a choice in that). I have ordered some artificial grass leaves from Dunelm but they are out of stock so I can't have any more play. I can't decide whether I want to add a few random leaves to my bouquet or to leave it as it is.
Anyway I have put all the left over flowers (argh I so want to go try on dresses so I can see if I'll be having white or ivory!) in the box they came in (actually a really nice 'pyramid' type box)so they can stay all 'fresh' ready for next July.... argh it is MILES away!!
Oh and I used 10 red and 9 white/ivory flowers bringing it to £29.36... £8 cheaper than the one on their website - bargain! - and that is paying for 12 red, and 12 white/ivory flowers plus two lots of postage. (So I'd have some left over to sell on ebay).0 -
The bra is perfect. I was recommended it by my cousin who wore it at her wedding last year and she did not need to adjust it once. I was worried as I am very small busted and strapless bras look stupid on me. This was comfortable as well as giving me a cleavage. what more could you ask for.
The only worry I have about the shoe is the colour. My dress is ivory as well but the colour of ivory can vary from white/cream to yellow/cream. The shoes are a yellow/cream. I will see next friday when I try it all on together
I love the sound of your wedding posy. That souds very similar to what I am after.0 -
Lol following on from another thread - What was number 1 when you met your fiance?
For MrD and I it was Ricky Martin Livin' La Vida Loco. :roftl: I did used to love dancing to it that summer!!0 -
I think I need to take a trip to Debenhams to try that bra on- Ive read a few good reports on it so definately want to try it. Im an e cup so definately want something that will support me and will be comfy. My dress I think will offer a bit of support but I definately want something else.
Tracey- the shoes are lovely. I really need to stop looking at shoes as I already have one pair but have kind of convinced myself I will have them for the evening as they only have a small heel (and im very short) and will get s pair with a bigger heel for the ceremony and pictures!!0 -
Oh and atomic kitten whole again was number one when I met my oh!!0

Tracey Love your bra and shoes. I think ill make a trip to debanhams when its Easter hols. I need a padded and push up bra:o
Basshunter Now your Gone was number one!
No more weddings plan from me - come down with yet another sore throat (third one this year :-() So trying to get rid of my cold. Anyone got any good tips?!!0 -
Hi all!
I tried that bra on ages ago and loved it! If I wore strapless things that would be the one I would go for, it makes your boobs rock solid! I don't really wear strapless though as my shoulders are weird and bony (the only part of me that is :rotfl:)
Nice flowers there Natalie, they look alright for fake ones. I can't stand real flowers but I have a feeling my mum is going to make meso might have to point her in the direction of that shop!
I can't remember what was actually number one when I met him (because I can't remember the exact date) but I can remember drunkenly dancing on a table to Shakira's 'Hips don't lie' (I was slim then so wasn't scared to stand on club tables! :rotfl:) I remember the !!!!!cat dolls were also big at the time, oh and that god awful punkrocker song was out too, flowers in her hair or whatever it was. I vaguely remember me and my friend bought condoms out of the machine, blew them up and put them down our tops... Oh to be 19 again! :rotfl: 3 Lions would have been around aswell no doubt as it was Summer 06.
Ah I love reminiscing about the old days!

Oh, Laura, a friend of mine swears by turmeric dissolved in a spoonful of honey for a sore throat - I prefer Tyrozets - you can buy them in a chemist and they taste a bit like mint rennies, but they soothe a sore throat in seconds. I used to get tonsilitis ALL the time when I was younger and they worked wonders.

Well... after a week of being a good girl, I woke up this morning and weighed myself. I had lost all the water retention bloatedness. So I'm officially weighing in every saturday from now on. Lol anyway I did a 10k run today - and thank god I did!! MrD's mum popped round today with a DVD for me to watch (on my marathon DVD week). And what did she bring with her? 2 scones and 3 mince pies... lol. Now my theory is eat them all and be good for the rest of the week... lol (I haven't mastered everything in moderation). So that is exactly what I did - ate the lot after tea lol. Ooops! So now I'm back to being an angel for the rest of the week.
Lol love all your number 1s!! Mel - I looked it up on Wikipedia - lol I can't remember that far back!! Another song I loved dancing to was the cover version of When The Going Gets Tough (or whatever it was called) by Boyzone. Oh and the last dance song was always When You Say Nothing At All by Ronan.
Sorry to hear you've got another sore throat LauraL. I try not to 'take' anything for a sore throat other than keeping it well lubricated with drinks. The downside is all the water makes you need the loo a lot!
Well I was hoping that at the end of the month I would be able to pay for our accommodation for our October pre-honeymoon holiday. But MrD texted me asking if I could load more cash onto our pre-paid Euro mastercard. Doubt we'll have enough left now! Grrr!0 -
Natalie- do we get to see pics of the latest bouquet?
I may take a trip to debenhams tomorrow- ive seen a pair of shoes that Im liking!! If I get these ones those I will stop looking!!
I remember the popular songs played when I met my oh were whole again, toploader- dancing in the moonlight and shaggy- it wasnt me!!0
