He suffers from blocked tear ducts - the vet thinks it's his teeth growing funny and squishing them. It generally doesn't bug him - it just looks like he's been crying, but every now and then he gets something in them which causes an infection - the last one was really nasty looking and he was really under the weather. But took him to the Vets last week and he gave him some more antibiotics and anti-inflammatory stuff and it has been brill. Pretty much within 24 hrs of starting the course he perked up.

Lol no he won't be part of the wedding lol - the first christmas we had him though he was the star of our cards - took a photo of him wearing a santas hat lol. We've decided, while he is a brilliant tolerant little bunny (he handled my brothers children poking him far better than I did!), on the day of the party we'll hide him away upstairs in my office (lol loads of paper for him to chew and keep himself entertained) with a big 'off limits' sign on the door. I imagine MrD and I will take turns to drop in on him to make sure he is okay.

I have been good food wise today - just have a kitkat left to eat. But I haven't done any exercise either. I should have gone to the gym but by the time I'd taken Bun to the vets if I'd have gone it'd have been busy. I like to go straight after school - it's dead at 4pm! It's brill. Got Yoga tomorrow night so I'll next be going on Wednesday - I promise lol.

My ebay account (well MrDs) says the flowers I'd ordered have been despatched so hopefully they will arrive this week to give me something weddingy to play with :)

Gutted - lol. Yesterday I got home to find a 'you were out' card from royal mail. So I set off to work 10-15 mins early to pop into town to go collect it... hoping that it'd be my flowers for my bouquet and buttonholes... nope - it was some mugs for the caravan (which I don't even use as I don't drink hot drinks!). Then I come home and there is another 'you were out' card from parcel force - they'd taken the parcel to my local post office, so I toddle off straight away - is it my flowers? Nope! It's some bike parts for MrD! :( gutted... lol I did have another 'you were out' card from royal mail saying I'd got another two parcels - as far as I know we're only expecting 2 more things (some plates for the caravan and my flowers)..... I know it's only another half day till I can go collect it but still... it's ages away!!!! I want them here NOW!

Ha on the brightside Amazon's two DVDs arrived today - I only ordered them on Sunday - with their free 'long' postage. :D (Lol the DVDs were Howard The Duck, a film I loved as a kid, and The Rocky Horror Picture Show - lol I'm having a Film Marathon while MrD is away this week!)

Well everyday so far this week Ive woken up thinking 'im going to be really good and healthy today' and everyday Ive been naughtly!! Not good!

Natalie- how annoying is it when that happens- ill keep my fingers crossed for you that you get them tomorrow. Hope Bunny is better today.

Hows everyones day been? Has anyone else done any more wedding planning?

Bloody hell Natalie that sounds complicated! I hate ordering parcels because our flats don't have letterboxes on the outside (I know, massive design flaw!) Royal Mail have a key but anyone else has to hope someone is in. Half the time the cards don't get delivered or they leave them outside and if you are lucky someone gets home before they blow away!

I haven't been to the gym but I have eaten healthily and I have done 30 day shred yesterday and today so thats a start at least. Need to go to the gym tomorrow to weigh myself as I don't actually know what I weight at the mo. I feel a bit trimmer though, think it's probably because I've been exercising so it's all sucked in :rotfl:

No more wedding planning yet - my napins arrived but I don't really know what to do with them haha so have stuffed them in the plastic wallet with all the other wedding related things! :p

On a money related note, do you guys have a specific 'wedding account' that you keep your money in? I am just starting to save odd amounts as and when, but as I will probably have to start paying deposits and things I don't want a full on savings account that I can't access. Not sure if opening a full on current account is the way to go?

    xx

Natalie always annoying when you got to keep going to the post office and its never the parcel your waiting for!

silaqui no we don't have a 'wedding account' as we are currently trying to save for a house as well so at the moment most of our money goes into that savings. We have a savings pot which we only put £2 in.

No more wedding plans for me. Went out today with my BM so we had a good time chatting about the wedding:D

Now going to two weddings in September - OH cousin recently booked theres for 10th sept. I wish we could get married now. July 2012 is ages away!

Film note - went to the cinema today and saw gnomeo and juliet - my first 3D film!

We haven't got a 'wedding account'. But when we do want to put money aside and not spend it (lol) it tends to get put into MrD's Halifax websaver account - think it's slightly higher interest than our regular Halifax current account but we can transfer it back into our account any time we like. (I think anyway - I will check with MrD when he gets back).

That being said though - so far I've just been spending out of our normal account but recording it on my spread sheet. Because we're doing everything on the cheap (no big venues etc) the biggest bill is (probably) going to be my dress (lol) and as long as I get it after pay day I should (hopefully) be able to pay it off without it spilling over two months worth of pay!

I agree LauraL it does feel an age away doesn't it!! I keep telling myself all these people that announce their engagement after us, and are getting married before us, won't be having as a fab a do as us cause they won't have spent as long researching and planning it to make sure it's perfect, plus theirs is bound to be far more expensive (and hence a waste of money) compared to ours cause they won't have spent 2 years bargain hunting!!

Thanks Natalie! Will have to start telling myself that:rotfl:Please remind me that when i start moaning next month:rotfl:!
  • Mel- we have a wedding account that we each both have a monthly standing order set up to pay a small amount in. Its not really a savings account but it means we can keep the wedding money seperate to our other accounts- and its quite nice seeing it gradually go up (although then go down occasionally when we buy bits/ pay deposits.!) and we can access it when we want.

Laura- I know what you mean- i so wish it was this july we were getting married- then again Ive waited long (weve been engaged over 5 years!!) another year is nothing!!
