    I think that dress is sooo lovely - can you remind us of the 50s style dress? (Or is that the one in the blog?) If it was in a 2nd hand dress shop was the price better?

    Yes, the 50s style dress is the one in the blog pics :) I've found one in a shop that's very very similar (but with bateau neck rather than a little dip like Catie had). It's £1,200 but I could get it made by a dressmaker for a lot less. Will be checking out local fabric shops this week. :)

    The Pronovias one in the links above is £650 2nd hand. It is fab but not too flattering from the back :o - but when I lose weight it will look a lot better!!!

  • Hey everyone

    Natalie- sounds like youve been very good today, no wonder you have a smug face.

    We made a christmas cake today!! We got one of the Mary Berry ones in tesco as it seemed cheaper to do that, looking on the grabbit board people are saying they taste yummy! Ours is now made and looks and smells yummy, cant wait to eat it!!

    pbny- i think I said it before but I love your dress. Its stunning.

    Wanchai- that dress youve seen that is 2nd hand is stunning. I really wish you luck in deciding- all these stunning dresses and you have to pick one!!

    Natalie- hopefully our wedding days will be dry mild days with blue skies, but not too hot! - my best friend is being bridesmaid today and she was saying she is going to freeze (she feels the cold really badly, she did say she is wearing leggings and a boob tube under her dress, I really an not sure if she was joking or being serious!!:rotfl:), it has been cold but at least they have had a nice dry day with no rain.

    Oh Wanchai - lol I don't envy you having to decide between those two dresses - cause I think they are both stunning. I *think* if I had to choose I'd go for the one in the blog... ha you should create a poll and see what the majority would go with on MSE :).

    Emma - hurrah for the Christmas Cake - although blurgh - it is yucky and horrible lol.

    I should be making our tea - but I'm sat in front of the fire instead lol.

    Emma well done for making christmas cake, I don't like it myself!

    Well email sent to hair and make-up lady so just waiting for a reply now.
    OH's parents have got the cuff links, not seen them yet tho, also they said we can use them as the presents to the blokes so saving a bit of money!

    well after our meal out last night where I was a good girl and only had a main course - everyone else had a pudding, but I still didn't eat very well cause of the type of food on offer - American Diner...I have been a good girl again today. I have got the veggies in the oven as I type, just waiting on MrD to get home to decide what to do with the chicken (dry fry or, if he pops to the shops, tandoori style). I did 30 mins of Davina earlier as well and went for it as well so I'm pleased with that. When I exercise I'm less likely to eat crap cause I don't want to undo that effort.

    Gulp it's now less than 220 days till our wedding!!
    It is 219 days, 16 hours, 36 minutes, 43 seconds until Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at 2:00
    :T:j:eek::shocked:_pale_:dance: all rolled into one!
