I don't think it's sad at all. And I was watching it all playing out on FB. I was totally gutted for you - heart sinking - the works (although I didn't cry for you lol that would have just been odd lol). And now I'm totally over the moon and well elated for you :D I can't wait for you to go try it on!! Even if it turns out to be the worse dress in the world on you, it doesn't matter cause you will have it out of your system. (Although I am hoping it is perfect on you!). What time are you leaving?

Oh absolutely!! :D I think I was in my first bridal shop for about 40 mins or so and I tried on 3 dresses, but I tried on the second dress twice :) (The Dress). The second bridal shop I was there maybe an hour and I tried on too many too count (or really pay much attention to cause I'd got The Dress in my head at that point). I am impressed that they've given you such a long slot - in my mind it bodes well for their attentiveness rather than sheer number of dresses you'll be trying on. Unless the store is absolutely massive lol. You are going to have a brilliant time. So glad you are able to go!! :D

Ha love the idea of being late - as if that would happen!! Actually I bet if your OH was off all day you'd have already left!! :p (just looking at the website)

    Hello girls,

Visited the venue on Saturday, a lovely sunny day on the Isle of Wight and the venue was gorgeous!!!! Have sent the deposit off today to secure the date. Even more exciting they have yurts onsite, so thinking may have our first night of marriage in a yurt (we both have a love of camping).

Should be receiving costings this week, so will start the main budgeting once receive those (I've still got money from my jamboree account which is now being used as the wedding account).

Oh that is brilliant news Michelle!! So glad the venue is as great as you'd hoped!! Yay at sending off the deposit - one more thing ticked off your list (lol if you're as sad as me and have one lol!)
Even better that they have yurts!! It seems like it was made to be!

Well in a few minutes I'm off to meet the photographer - fingers crossed he is everything I (we) want and I can get him booked. I am feeling irrationally nervous!! (It should be him feeling nervous - wanting our custom not the other way round!) I've even put on one of my bestest summer dresses, and even put a face of make up on!! While I'm in town (think I've already said but I'll say it again) I'm going to have a look at some perfumes. :)

I think you may be right Natalie :)

Also have just been on Ebay, have brought an island stamp to start on the save the date cards - thinking of a card with the outline of the island, with both our initials in the middle with a slight hint that it'll be taking place on the island (my youngest aunt is being a pain and constantly on at me about the date), and will give the guests a heads up so they can start looking at car ferries and hotels - I'm trying to be helpful without giving everything away :)
