What have you missed  you've got stuff on there I hadn't even thought about!

For your OH's ring it might be worth trying argos?

Just been watching X Factor - I don't particularly like the show but I could gaze at Gary Barlow all day long *swoon* :A :rotfl:

    xx

  • Mel- I think argos may be an option. I do feel a bit bad only spending about £40 or £50 on his ring- when my cost £379, (although I did have £210 towards it from my clubcard points), but there really is no point in me spending more for the sake of a few hours.

Im thinking I can now put my feet up for a few months as I have nothing to do!!

Oh I LOVE GARY BARLOW!! Glad im not the only one watching it just for the eye candy!! Although I actually quite liked the new judges, think it needed a rejig, and at last someone fit (apart from Dermot who I also swoon over!!:rotfl:), simon cowell just never did anything for me!!:rotfl:
  • Oh thats bad news about the red arrows, I love them.

Mel- well done on getting a photographer, thats a bargain.

My dress is stored at my mil2b, its hanging up in a duvet cover on a wardrobe door- I peek everything I go there!! Melanie- do you not at least have a duvet you can put it in to keep it covered till you work out what to do with it?

LauraR- have a fab time tonight- hope you arent too hanging in the morning!!

I brought the wedding dress storage bag! It's a breathable non see thru material and I can put a suitcase lock it! Just incase. Lol

Good morning everyone!! Hope you all had a lovely weekend.
Well today I'm off into town to meet a photographer at 11. :D And while I'm there I'm going to pop into boots and have a spritz of perfumes :) Oh and my wedding night lingerie arrived over the weekend - tried it on very quickly last night and it it perfect - cannot wait to try it on. I'm being cheeky though - I'm not counting it in my wedding purchases because strictly speaking I would have bought some new underwear for that night anyway with it being our anniversary.

(I lost 1lbs this week - which isn't bad considering I had a pizza last night when we got in - I had planned on cooking a chicken tea - but I forgot to get some out of the freezer before we left on Friday and MrD's mum didn't get the message passed on on Saturday. We got home at 10, and I could not be arsed to cook something else from scratch. So it was a pizza. Back to being good today though. Feel like crap - hate the morning after eating crap feeling. I'm glad I'm not running at the moment! Will soon start my training for the Lincoln 10K run in March though).

Yaaaaaay Melanie for buying the dress (oh there is also another Mel - MelOz!). Bet you can't wait to see it shortened and without as much netting! Then it'll feel like 'your' dress, if that makes sense. :D That's how I feel about mine - at the moment it's not really my dress cause its not the dress I want, not till I get the bottom hacked off :D
I didn't find giving notice too bad - it felt no more interrogating than say registering with a new doctors but MrD said he found it interrogating. Our registrar was really smiley and friendly though which I think helped. Even if at one point I did think she was way too smiley! I can't wait to sit down and choose which vows etc we want to as part of our service! I have pencilled that in for Feb half term - to pin MrD down and choose together. :) (I guess he should have a say in this bit lol).
Hahaaaa love the idea of putting a suitcase lock on your dress - is that to stop other people peeking, or for your OH to hide the key to stop you from trying it on every Friday lol.

Emma - hurrah for getting your wedding ring!! Although I do demand to know - where are the piccies!! Website piccies are never the same as real life ones :rotfl:.
yaaaaaay at getting bits and bobs for your name cards :)
I can't think of anything that you've missed out from your list of things to do :) I would write mine out lol but I'm a little bit obsessive and I wouldn't want to scare you all at how much I've planned things out ha!

LauraR I love your photobooth banner. I think the only thing I would say is it could possibly read like they shouldn't hang the remote back up. How about changing "do not touch the camera" to "please leave the camera alone" then it's phrased 'positively' (you're telling them what to do rather than what not to do" and then "hang the remote up" goes with it better. (Lol perhaps this is the teacher in me coming through though).
Good luck today trying the dress on - really hope it is The Dress!! We want to hear all about your shopping trip when you get back!! With piccies where possible :D

Sad news about the Red Arrows - Melanie I keep forgetting your in Lincolnshire too. Strange cause I bet I'm closer to LauraR in Hull than I am you!

Mel - wow £98 that is a total bargain!! Lol makes me squirm at paying £200 for the same! And even better that you have a recommedation!!
