I think she was in the early stages- so she could have had it by now, but then you do hear about really long labours- lets hope Laura hasnt had a really long labour!

Bless him, I may not say anything to my oh when the year is here to see if he clicks!!

I need size 37... BUT I have spoken to MrD's mum and I THINK I'm going to forget about blingy shoes and go for understated shoes to show my dress of better. I do think the Rainbow shoes would go much better with the 50s tea-length dress look better. BUT I am *NOT* going to buy them.... not until I've tried the dress on with my silver Miss KG shoes on... just to check they are wrong. Lol I love them so much though so I don't really care if I can't wear them on our wedding day. I'm sure I'll find an occasion to wear them! :D

I hope Laura's silence means she is basking in motherhood (again) :)

I do personally think that plain ivory shpes (like the rainbow ones) will go better with your dress as they will show the dress detail off more.

Oh Im sure youll find other occasions to wear you KG shoes if they dont look right with your dress.:D

    I think you're right too :)

I was thinking - I *could* get a nice dress to wear with my Miss KG ones after the actual ceremony. Because we're coming back here for a BBQ, and I won't want to get my pretty dress all smokey before the party on Saturday. So I *could* wear them then :) They'd at least get an outing then lol.

Right soooo now do Rainbow Club shoes ever go into sales? lol. Mmmm Damn £65 - £15 over budget!

Oh thats a good idea as you really dont want a smokey smelling dress or risk spilling something on it, especially before the party on saturday.

Natalie- looking around it does seem that some do go in the sale- but those ones are 2011 so may not go in the sale for a while. They are £59 on Amazon although i couldnt see if there was a postage charge so it is possible to get them for a little bit less than the £65.

Lol you are bored aren't you!! :) Serious though - thanks!! And you are right - they are 2011, they could always go in the Christmas sales. I won't buy a Rainbow Club shoe though until I've got my dress and my sample bit to send off for colouring the shoes :) Lol unless they come down in sale!

Well I had another wedding dream last night. Basically MrD refused to wear the buttonholes I'd made, I was running totally late, and noone had tied my dress up before the ceremony. Lol :).

    (Yay it's Friday!)

Looking forward to the weekend, packing for my trip to Sweden so wedding plans are put on hold until I get back, flying out to Copenhagen next weekend before abandoning H2B at the airport on the Monday when I get on a coach to the campsite in southern Sweden.

My mum is being pretty good at the moment, she only has one request for the guest list, so it's gone up two, but we're still below 30 if you include me and H2B. Mum's also picking odds and sods up for me at the moment to go together with my dress, she picked up a pink version of this for £2 on saturday: http://www.newlook.com/shop/womens/accessories/floral-garland_227315613 I think it's the sort of thing that will go well with the dress (which is still packed in the box at mum's, didn't get to try it on as mum was having a major blitz in the living room and didn't want me to get it out). I like it, but was wondering whether I should attempt to make my own, I do have one year and 4 days, so I think it'll be doable :)

Enough for now, hope LauraR is doing ok and we see her on here again soon. Best get on with writing the resit task letters for the first year students who have failed - I don't like doing them, but they're part of the job.
