OMG!!!!! It's been about a decade since I've been on here!! (well not quite but it feels like it). Work has been a bit mad, and days off have been few and far between.

Weddings - I've got a videographer now and we've paid deposit for reception. Woohoo. Bridesmaids asked and accepted - going dress shopping on 29th July. Exciting. We'll have a colour scheme after that!!!

I've started sketching invitations (I am quite possibly the world's least artistic person so this could take a while!). How long before the wedding are you sending out your invitations? And what date will you want the RSVP by. Is sending invitations out 8 weeks before and expecting RSVP'S 6 weeks before too much?????

Thank you guys and I've missed you and all the wedding talk :-) xx

    Laura :) I like too!! :D

Emma - I'm sooo hoping I find the one lol.

Rach - well done on getting bits organised!! Bet you're excited about going dress shopping and getting your colour theme sorted.

I plan on giving out my invites during February Half term (just under 5 months before the wedding) and have set my RSVP for 17th May (two months before the wedding). Just because it's the first weekend of the school holidays so I want to make sure as many people as possible are around (I haven't bothered with save the dates). Plus this will give me 2 months to make sure I have the right amount of alcohol/food planned... plus I'm a ball of impatientness - lol I want everything done NOW - the idea of waiting till Feb is killing me when they are all sat in my box ready for sending. Lol

I havent really thought about when to send the invites out, must have a little think.

Ok- does anyone know- my honeymoon is booked in my married name but when getting holiday insurance what name do I book it in?

Oh thats a really good price then, good luck with the viewing, bet it would be quite nice to get the venue sorted before baby comes as you wont have much time for wedding planning soon:D.

That is brilliant news Laura!! Great price - they must really want your custom! :) :T Hope the viewing goes well!

Emma - I would guess it should be in the same name as on your passport at the time of flying - I'll have a google and see what I can come up with.

Oh if you come across anything please let me know. I was sure it would be my married name but then I started to think 'what if something happened to me and it needs to be cancelled', if its in my married name and im not yet married how would I prove its me.
