They are lovely, though did feel that the staff in the Oxford Street branch were a lot more helpful than those in Milton Keynes (but I think that this was because they were getting ready for the sale).
Dress should be with me in the next 3-6 days... then it's going to live at my mother's for the year!0 -
LauraR - I'll carry on looking for votive sized candles without the glass. There are some yankee candle 'samples' that are that size on ebay but they're about £1.20-1.50 each! Definitely not a bargain!! I think those mirror coasters will be fab!! You're centrepieces are going to be some of the best I've seen on here!!
Michelle - oh that dress is so pretty! It is very greek godessyFabby!

Right a question for you lot who either like football or have grooms-to-bes who like football.
We're off to Scunny on Saturday dress shopping (lol in case I hadn't already said)... I have just had a mild 'argh what if' moment - and have checked Scunny's fixtures. It says on their website they are playing 'away' with Bottesford Town.... does this mean they aren't playing in Scunny and therefore the town won't be heaving and I'll have no problem parking?
Lol writing it down makes it sounds so obvious -'away' means 'not at home' lol but MrD plays snooker and he can be playing 'away' but still be at his club. Lol confusing huh!!
I am getting really excited. I have just sent my mum an email with google streetview screen shots of the carpark we can meet in, and the shop fronts of the two places we're going to. And a colleague has recommended a pub as well.0 -
i think it would mean they are away. but i know what u mean. im not sure who the other team is as i know some clubs dont have grounds so play "away" but are still at home lol...
sorry that is no help at all just a bit of babbling! x0 -
Lol thanks!! I will carry on googling to see if I can find a location.0

*sob* It looks like they play at Scunny too!

Okay next question - what time do normal football matches start? If me and mum aim to get there around 10:00-10:15 do you think we'll get there before the crowds?0 -
oh no
what times are your appts and is it same times? x0 -
First appointment is 10:30.
I am getting rather excited... in case you can't tell!0
