Lol can you tell what I'm doing? I wonder if buying 20 fake gerberas and some wired organza ribbon would be cheaper than buying enough wide organza to do some chair sashes... then again who knows whether these would look okay with normal white plastic garden chairs (or how I could attach them).

:) Have decided to do away with the idea of sashes/bows. Think the gerberas would go better with the 'plastic garden chair' look. :) Soooo I can have 10 burgundy ones with white wired organsa, and 10 white ones with burgundy organsa.... or do I go with 20 of one colour - or have the same coloured ribbon.... decisions decisions. Will be placing an order for more fake gerberas soon :)

Yep I have - so that would save a little bit as well. Definitely going to have a play with them. :D Hurrah!!! (And MrD says he prefers them too which is always a bonus - lol although when I said I liked them best too he said so why ask... lol).

Just been upstairs I have 9 burgundy ones left over. I have only 2 white/ivory depending on what colour dress I end up - and these two may end up as buttonholes for my granddad/MrD's dad. So money wise it'd be best if I had burgundy ones (and I think they'd stand out better on the white chairs)... now I have to decide what colour ribbon to use - the same as the invites (burgundy) but then it's a lot of burgundy - or white/ivory which would be the only ribbon of that colour in all my decorations.

Am really happy with everything I've got planned:
    * two 3x3 gazebos set up at the bottom of the garden, with berry lights wrapped around their legs (at the minimum the front ones, but hopefully all of them), and a wired burgundy organza bow tied to the top of the legs.
    * 20 white garden plastic chairs with 20 burgundy gerberas tied to their 'shoulder' using wired organza ribbon - either burgundy or white/ivory.
    * 56 paper burgundy/white/black hearts hanging around the outskirts of the back garden.
    * 21 red and white cloud 9s hanging up in the corners of the gardens and house downstairs rooms.
    * 10 garden torches lining the two sides of the back garden with a wired burgundy organza bow tied.
    * 12 tea light lanterns spelling out our names along the path down the side of the house.
    * on the counters in the kitchen: white table cloth covering the tops and all the cupboards (probably use sellotape to attach). A 30cm or so wide burgundy organza runner along and down the side of the counter tops. 3000 acrylic clear 4mm 'crystal' hearts scattered on top. With the cutlery rolled up in white napkins with burgundy ribbon wrapped around.

I have so far spent £130.01 on the bits I've got.
    Have got to buy:
    12 burgundy gerberas. (£15)
    Berry lights. (£10)
10 garden torches plus oil. (£20+ oil)
    Table runner (£5)
    Burgundy wired ribbon (£7)
    (possibly white/ivory wired ribbon)
The rest of the chairs. (£20)

I hope to get all of this £200 in total.
