LauraR- I do like both the ties, but in my opinion the one you have selected for the dads etc is smarter than than the one for the groom, and just in my opinion the groom should be the smartest man in the group (just my opinion and I do think they are both very nice).

Well I think we have decided that we are going to go for a proper iced cake rather than a giant cupcake so now im getting some ideas for a cake topper!

hmmm, tough one Natalie, I dont reckon you would get them much cheaper in the sales but you just never know.

:) oh you can have loads of fun with your cake topper!! You could have something traditional like little versions of you and your groom-to-be or you could go with something else that is totally relevant to you (lol I'd be temped to get a big 3D Apple Mac symbol lol cause we're both Mac mad).

And I have decided if I can do I'm going to get some 'berry' lights instead of fairy lights. They are my favourite lights for the Christmas tree - so I'd prefer them - even if it means I have to get less. I'm going to have a bit of a play with some string I've got at the weekend to see how far 10m would get me. (The string is 100m long so I can see how far it'd cover). The lights I've got my eyes on are around £12 for 10m - nearly twice the price of the fairy ones but definitely twice the class (and they'd fit in with the tealight lanterns better as well).

I can't decide on ties myself so am no help Im afraid. All I know is that I want them the same colour as the bridesmaids dresses.

Natalie - I love those lights that you made, there are really nice and given me some ideas.

I am having a little panic at the moment. I have no idea how I am going to finish planning my wedding, prepare for a baby and finish my degree. I have just emailed my academic advisor at uni to find out whether it is possible to finish my third year (I am due 27th Feb, and break up from uni for easter for a month on 17th March, and only have an exam after that, so think it is possible) Everyone is being so helpful but feel like all the pressure is on me. Sorry to rant on about things that are not wedding related but needed to get if off my chest.

Oh absolutely rant away!! I'm sure your uni will help you in every way they can. Hopefully they can help accommodate everything and it'll be one less thing to worry about. The wedding planning - well you know we're here to help should you need/want us to. :) And I'm absolutely sure the two Laura's will help when it comes to little Baby. :)

thanks there is just so much more to think about now. If the uni thing works out it will be a load off my mind.
One good thing is I found out that we can take the baby on our honeymoon for a cost of £29. We were worried that the hotel would not except babies.

Welcome Laura.... Im LauraR lol thats 3 of us now,

Im so behind with my planning we have booked the church but not paid anything yet. I cant decide on my breakfast/reception venue, but i have bought all my candy buffet items, bridesmaid shoes and my wedding favours.

Tracey: thats great news about the honey moon. my boys will be one and nearly 4 and its summer holidays so i have no idea what we're going to do as its so expensive in that time.. (might have to have a september one)

as for the Ties... i think ill just get all the same. im not having them all in matching suits ive just asked them all to wear a black suit & white shirt. Might get OH a different shirt or something just so he stands out from the rest.

    hope ur all well!!!

11days til baby is due  xx
