I made my wedding favours (donation cards in memory of grandad) last week on vistaprint but they wernt free so i just left them in the basket... i got an email this morning saying 10 where free
slow postage is £3.00 so i did 4 seperate orders for them £12 for 40 plus i use quidco and get £5 cash back on each order so i actually made £8 by buying them.
cant wait to get them now. only have to wait a month for postage but ill no doubt forget and then get all excited again when they come lol! x0 -
That was a good bargain Laura!! Reading on here though you'll probably find they come quicker than a month :T0

My bargain of the day.
I have just found someone on ebay who can do 100 burgundy, and 100 white 12in balloons for £11 including postage. They will make up 22 'cloud 9s' - working out at a bargainous 50p each!! (Cheapest DIY 'kit' I've seen on ebay is £10 for 3!). I *think* we'll go with air filled - according to google they may only stay inflated for a day if we were to go with hellium, which would mean we'd have to blow them up the Saturday morning - not sure I fancy that. Where as if we go with air filled a) it'll save us a mini-fortune on hellium canisters, but b) we can get them blown up ahead of time. Anyway I'm a happy bunny cause it's another thing organised!

just a little different for the groom?
what do u think? would they be better all the same?
thanks :)x0 -
Oh god don't ask me about ties!! Lol I have no idea what would look good (like what style - skinny, textured etc.) But I think *if* I was having say bridesmaids in the same outfits, then I'd want the men to wear the same things too, including the groom. lol But then that is the OCDey me.
I got paid today - I'm having to really stop myself from spending loads on random decorationy things. Lol. The sensible me says I should wait till Christmas to see if Fairy Lights come down, or wait till January sales.. But then I'm not convinced I'd be able to get any cheaper than 100 bulbs for £6. :rotfl: What am I like!!0 -

are the bulbs a string or like a net? and are u having special outdoor ones or just normal indoor?
x0 -
They are outdoor ones, and just a string. I'm not actually sure what I'd do with them or where I'd put them lol. But I just want them lol. (I was thinking I could wrap them round the legs of the gazebo... but other than that I'm stuck for ideas that would look good). But I could very easily spend a mini-fortune on them so perhaps it's best I don't get any lol.0
