Aww that's lovely, it's great when neighbours help each other out.
I think I've eaten too much fruit and veg today as my bottom is making sounds! Oopps.0 -
LMC - are things better now between you and OH?0

Dangers, he's planning for us to get married in Jamaica in April when we go on our holiday. How do I feel about it *shrugs shoulders** it would have been nice to have had an adult conversation before he started speaking to the holiday resort and look into it etc.0

LMC - he's not my husband, not lucky enough to get a ring on my finger just yet.
We've just demolished a McDs after finally getting home from my parents after he and my dad finally finished fixing my sisters car.
He is an absolute star though, I'm very lucky to have finally found him

Did he propose? I'd be a bit wary of that sort of planning LMCNo longer using this account for new posts from 20130 -
Gemmzie, we've been engaged for 3 years. I think it's because his friend's marriage of over a year has ended in a divorce and he wants to provde that not all marriages end like that.
I've always said I want to get married abroad and to have a choice in the venue etc.0 -
Morning all
Well up earlier than I have been for the last week or so, just watching last nights Glee then I'll get on with the jobs left over from yesterday.
I do also need to go and fetch bread and milk at some point, but the weather is so miserable I dont want to go anywhere!!
LMC - it would be lovely to get married in Jamaica I'm sure, but you need to make it clear to you OH that you would like some input and involvment in the arrangement of your own wedding. It's a lovely thought by him but perhaps he hasnt thoroughly thought it through.

Lizzie, I know **shrugs shoulders again!** He hasn;t thought it through as we need to notify the resort 21 days before we leave, hve our birth certificates and another form validated by a solicitor; which can tkae a while and I need to reorder my birth certificate.
I fear that I may have got out of the wrong side of the bed this morning, as I'm one grumpy mare!0 -
You have every right to be grumpy, I'd love to know how mens brains work sometimes.
For example, mine is ill, so I told him not to go to work, but he went anyway, and was sent home at 10am, pointless waste of time and petrol when if he'd listened to me and stayed in bed he would be feeling better sooner!!
And my plans for the day are scuppered until he wakes up because all the jobs I have left to do are noisy ones upstairs that would wake him.
So the tv, sofa, and my laptop it is until he wakes up
