    Hi all
Long shot but has anybody stayed at Le Chene Gris and tried to add days to their booking? Really wanted half term week in May but it will only give us the first weekend. Trouble is hubby is teacher so can't go til the Sat and would really like to stay longer than 2 nights.
Missed the first rush of booking as had to take girls to dancing - typical - after spending all last night online!!!!

We're going Portsmouth to Caen. It cost £160 for a day time crossing.

Did you try to book the ferry through the link the sun sent, because its much cheaper.
there's no way we could do a long daytime crossing!!

sick as dogs going to Calais ! :( :rotfl:

would go for the overnight as thought if we are sleeping / lying down it wouldnt be so bad

but not at that price!

No, but that's where I've booked for - cheapest accommodation for the week I've booked is £555 according to their website so I'm over the moon! :D Am hoping it's as good as it looks lol!

Golden Coast is excellent- the company own 4 parks in the area and you can use your entertainment pass to access any of the facilities on any park.
Theres also a bus service which runs between the two main ones, I cant remember if its free though

Fab! Booked Golden Coast holiday village in Woolacombe - Anyone been before?

Thanks so much for everyones hard work x

I have been to Golden Coast it is really big they have a large club full size ten pib bowling there is a full size seperate pub in the middle of the park with kids park. A open top bus that you can get on to go to other local parks like woolacombe bay and a few others and it also goes down to the beach and woolcombe you can pay a few quid and use it for a few days as much as you want. To be honest the accomadation was very basic and could do with a bit of a update. But we managed ok didnt spend much time in there. At the bargain price of a sun break you dont mind:)
