Has anyone been to a Park Resorts before on a Sun holiday and know whether they let you upgrade after holiday is booked. A couple of years ago went to Pontins and you could upgrade then (but i didn't as too expensive) but on Park Resorts website their upgrade costs are not excessive and am hoping that they will offer upgrade when i get their confirmation. Booked Romney Sands as I won't have a car and know there's a bus link and a few arcades along the road!

I haven't been to Park Resorts, only Haven & Parkdean but both have called me & offered me an upgrade. Parkdean even gave us a free upgrade once when we arrived ;) a nice surprise! xx

we are going to go via eurotunnel using deals and drive down, maybe in 2 stages

priced up the overnight ferry with a cabin for 4 and it was ...... £568 return !!

    and that's in may / june !
dread to think what it would be in Aug!!!
  • Thank you to everyone for trying the words and spending hours upon hours trying, So appreciated. A big boo hoo to the sun for making it so fricking difficult. I got my first choice of park Littlesea in Weymouth on 15 th July ( fell in love with the place as soon as i went for the first time and we go every year) and second choice of date but that is only a week apart to what we wanted so really happy. I upgraded aswell. Saved loads as i will be paying a total of 130 quid and when booking direct they wanted 380 quid so massive savings so again thanks for all the people trying the codes because of you all my little family get a lovely holiday xxxxx

No, but that's where I've booked for - cheapest accommodation for the week I've booked is £555 according to their website so I'm over the moon! :D Am hoping it's as good as it looks lol!

We're going Portsmouth to Caen. It cost £160 for a day time crossing.

Did you try to book the ferry through the link the sun sent, because its much cheaper.

any1 been to Weymouth Bay, Dorset before, i havin look whats about and seems like i made an excellent choice :D

Weymouth Bay is lovely! A short walk through the next holiday park - Waterside - takes you to a rocky bay and a great entertainments centre with rides etc. It also has a bus stop right outside the park entrance into Weymouth itself. I think the buses are £30 a week for up to 5 peeps and you can also use the open top buses as long as you tell the driver you want that type of pass (one includes it and one doesn't). There's 2 indoor and 2 outdoor pools as you get to use Seaview's next door too.
