Hi - I don't know sorry, it's actually a macro within the spreadsheet that does all the work and I have no idea whether they're supported by Open office.
Doesn't appear to beI right clicked on the file name and told it to open in Scalc rather than Excel..... opened without being read only, but alas, the macros were no longer there. So, I can continue doing manual checks folks, but I suspect using a checker like this will find it loads quicker...... please post the word quickly when you get it! LOL! xxx
<goes off to see if we have a copy of MS Office lying around here somewhere....>0 -

i've found that the haven sites have lots of facilities but unless you upgrade you end up in very poor caravans with little heating and this has been the case with most of the really big sites. in my experience the smaller more independent caravan parks seem to keep the majority of their caravans up to good standard. I guess they dont have the capacity to keep lots of empty caravans of the lower standard hanging about. The couple of times I have stayed in chalets they have been awful and mouldy, even on an otherwise nice site. At Hendra in Newquay, we had the worst damp mouldy caravan in all my years of sun holidays.
We have been going on Sun Holidays since the early 90s, mostly to the Isle of Wight and Lower Hyde in Shanklin is great! (Avoid Whitecliffe Bay at all costs! It used to be such a nice, friendly family run park, but since Away Holidays took it over, it has rapidly deteriorated! Check Tripadvisor and you'll see what I mean.) Unfortunately, on our last trip to IoW, we booked Whitecliffe Bay as we had been there a couple of times in the 1990s and it had always been really popular with the Sun Holiday crowd, but we were shocked at how run down it was! In fact, it seemed not to have had a penny spent on the place since we were last there 15 years or so ago! Mouldy bathroom, stained sofa cushions/mattresses, poor decor, the lot. Totally awful.:(
After that experience, we fancied a change and went to Hendra in Cornwall last October half term and it was far and away the best site we have ever been to! Lovely caravan, really friendly staff and excellent facilities, especially the aqua park!
The only issue we had was on the day we arrived it had been raining and rain water had dripped in through the skylight in the caravan, as birds had eaten away the seal, (apparently this happens when people throw scraps onto the roof of caravans). We were obviously not happy and called reception to complain, expecting excuses and a lack of interest, but they were so helpful! In fact, the handyman was knocking at our door with a sealant gun almost as I hung up the 'phone! They even gave us a couple of electric heaters in case we thought the caravan was damp because of the drip (it wasn't!). The extra heaters came in useful that week though, it was so cold!
We are definitely going back there this year at Easter, as they are doing the same style caravan that we had with 20% off, meaning that we've paid less than we paid through the Sun last year!0 -
