Budget hotel in New York

Hi, Can you recommend some nice budget hotels or accommodation in New York ? Thanks.

Hi,
Have stayed at The Wolcott and so would agree with the earlier recommendation. Also stayed at The Comfort Inn on 34th and Hotel Metro also on 34th although Hotel Metro was quite a bit more expensive. These hotels are all in the same area, very close to Macy's and Empire State building.
The rooms are basic but perfectly adequate and all three of these hotels had breakfast included.
