in Gone off!
My DD told me today that the OJ which has been 57p per litre has gone up to 64 this week and lots of things have gone up not only by the od one or two pennies but by 5 & 10 p at a time .I am glad I am staying out of the big stores this month and only 'shopping 'from my cupboards and fridge/freezer.
P.S. The big Tesco's are getting their easter eggs on display this week as well.greedy beggers

As my signature implies we stopped using Tesco a long time ago.
Prices are generally higher, including petrol and diesel.
A lot of the staff think they own the place. Attitude stinks.
Somebody has to pay for the club card points. (customer does through higher prices).
We mainly shop at Asda (lower prices, really good tasting vegetables, with friendlier and more helpful staff).
Also use Lidl for additional items. Certain items from there are exceptionally good.
Dan.We used to to shop at Tesco. But then we saw the light.0 -

Not just Tesco, they all are. And it's the customers who are the greedy beggers, not the stores...if the demand wasn't there then they wouldn't waste valuable shelf space. We have removed your signature - please contact the forum team if you are not sure why - Forum Team0 -
'Starting' to creep up? :confused;0

Prices have been creeping up a long time - still miss the value shortbread for 9p! It is now 30p and showing no downward movement at all! It is not just the clubcard points to be paid for, but all the "special offers", can't believe it when people buy things just because they are on special, especially when there is a Lidl 5 mins drive from our local massive Tesco that has slightly more realistic prices on a lot of things including fresh fruit & veg! What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0

Prices are creeping up with a few of the major supermarkets. For example Tesco store - Golden Nuggets was £1.74 (or around that) now £2.06 - Sainsbury (& Tesco) Birdseye waffles was £1.25 now £1.49. I could go on and on with the increases but I won't
If you know what you want before you go check with mysupermarket first to see who will come up the cheapest, sadly this does not include Morrisons.
I really do believe that these supermarkets think that their customers do not have a brainComping from May 2012
Thank you to all that post & contribute, I think you are wonderful, I could not achieve without your help0 -

but then the supermarkets are businesses and they are there to make money, maybe theres costs somewhere along the line that couldnt be avoided and they have been passed onto to tesco0 -
I blindly shop in Tescos to be fair, because it's a couple of hundred yards away. Maybe time to look elsewhere. Can we just take it as read I didn't mean to offend you?0
