I have just gone to windows update and seen the only one available at present is a free upgarde to windows IE7 - does this mean it is now a good time to upgrade and that it is no longer Beta:-
"Download size: 14.8 MB , less than 1 minute
This free upgrade to Internet Explorer for genuine Windows customers offers improvements such as: enhanced security to help protect you from malicious software and fraudulent websites; a cleaner look, including tabs for browsing multiple pages in one window; features to make everyday tasks such as printing and searching the web easier. This upgrade preserves your current home page, search settings, favorites, and compatible toolbars, and can be uninstalled if you decide to do so. Right click on the menu bar or the command bar (near the icons on the right hand side for home, print etc.) and select customize command bar, then click add or remove commands. You should then have a list of commands you can add on the left hand side. One of these is Read mail. Add this one, make sure it is at the top of the list or it will be on the drop down arrow rather than always displayed.
Does this do what you need? It's my problem, it's my problem
If I feel the need to hide
And it's my problem if I have no friends
And feel I want to die0 -

Thanks for this. I was also looking for this feature.0 -
I've downloaded IE7 and since doing so Outlook Express wont automatically log into my hotmail account. Anyone know why?0

What do you mean by "automatically". How is OE configured?"She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

It probably wont automatically log in as you havent chosen ie7 to remember password when you visit your hotmail page - also you need to log in then save the logged in page as a bookmark. Just a note here, its probably not very safe to have instant access to your mail account as it bypasses the need for a password - if you were to get hacked then its easy pickings0

Steve_xx specifically said outlook express not IE7 which is why I was asking him how it was configured."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

No worries, until steve_xx replies it may be he is accessing his hotmail through IE7 in which case your advice is perfectly valid."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"
