It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.

He says on his website that "It is clear from the content that this anonymous letter has been written by a disgruntled supporter of the British National Party." Let's hope none of the comments on this board are from members of the BNP.

Not sure if he has written many regular air played songs? not really listened to the bloke TBH, never my scene.[/QUOTE]

Stuck in the middle has been covered a bit. I like that and Baker St.

edit: to clarify really said''Song writing is where the money is at, if you wrote it royalties are good.

Gerry Rafferty was said to be raking in £80K PA on Baker Street in royalties.

Not sure if he has written many regular air played songs? not really listened to the bloke TBH, never my scene.''

And I hoped we were moving to more interesting songwriters. ;)

He came over and spoke to me once, about 30 years ago. I had no idea until after we'd spoken that he was the guy who had just done the gig... I was simply helping my mate the sound engineer pack away and I was a bit bored and wondering whether to have a kebab.

I'd never heard of him then and even now he's "just a name I've heard".

Must be a top bloke though - favours an uninterrupted sea view.
