Another not special special offer, They had one bottle in store today looked like it had half leaked out though.

Price board £4.99, They do a kit (small bottle with a scraper and de-icer with a trigger gun) for the same price.
Only a couple of those in though.

Asda 5L screenwash (red cap) 2 for £5, But it doesnt say how cold it can goto, Not a lot i expect as i has a 2.5L one
in the boot and it froze.
They have very similar bottles, black cap & slightly different labels, That one states good for -6.
Only spotted in the 2.5L size though for £1.50?

    Doesn't start until Thursday?

Good price for stuff that can actually withstand low temperatures - cheap stuff in supermarkets freezes easily

Find another 5 litre bottle of -60 Screen Wash for less, and post a link to it so that we can all share. ;)

Or one where you dilute 50:50 and it'll still provide protection down to -20C.

Just a bump to say that the bulb kits are good value at £3.99:

    http://www.lidl.co.uk/cps/rde/xchg/lidl_uk/hs.xsl/index_17085.htm

Not as good value as the Aldi pack which normally contain a selection of indicator and tail bulbs, but far better than paying £5.99-£9.99 in Halfords for one bulb.

You really do like picking flies dont you lol.

If its on special offer from thursday why have they been selling it for weeks at the same price?

Only one bottle left on monday though and it looked like it had been dropped, Or spilt.

But they had the small bottles of the same stuff with a small trigger spray de-icer and a scraper for the same amount.

Probably / possibly leftover stock from the last special that they did.

The stuff in the trigger spray is not the same stuff.

Still waiting for your link to better value stuff .. ;)

Vauxhall Opticlear is good for -20 at 50:50

At 2 parts wash to one water its good for -30.. It doesnt state neat figures.

Not priced as yet... I recall under a fiver Trade so 6-7quid retail maybe but should see no reason why its not readily available year round... but yes not as cheap as Lidls...

The carplan stuff I've been using is uber crap... neat its ok upto around -9 where it starts foaming as it leaves the jets...
