Well my last remaining parcel came last night so hopefully yours will come in the next few days

...for two parcels via Royal Mail. Parcels delivered by couriers delayed but all received. Parcel tracking system of Royal Mail is inadequate, and have to wait 28 days before claiming for non-delivery. Morale is at an all time low with the posties, I doubt if anyone there really cares any more. A real shame. Not suprising with privatisation around the corner.0

I got a letter yesterday dated 10th December! I'm getting parcels and letters posted after Xmas, but anything posted around the start of December I'm still waiting on. It's annoying as I'm expecting a few important letters and have seen no sign of them.carpe diem

I've lost out on a new mortgage deal due to Royal Mails ineptitude to deliver post within a reasonable amount of time.
I signed the forms I needed to sign and sent them back to the building society on the 12th December, to date they have not been received.
The deal is no longer available and will now cost me more money on any other alternative.
If I thought I'd get anywhere I'd claim from Royal mail the extra cost of my mortgage repayments, but I just can't be bethered with them.
It's not the only post that has been delayed/lost.
I've received a hospital appointment through the post today, posted 6th December, for an appointment on the 6th january. The Hospital were none too impressed when I phoned today to rearrange the appointment.
I'm still waiting on 2 Christmas presents to arrive that I sent to family that have yet to arrive.
There is something seriously wrong with Royal Mail and the government should be doing something to resolve the matter.[SIZE=-1]To equate judgement and wisdom with occupation is at best . . . insulting.

given the sums involved.wouldnt it have made sense to use a tracked service?

We moved house in September and set up a mail re-direction for our mail so everything addressed to us at the old address is forwarded to our new one for 6 months. Everything has been going so well until today when we got a bunch of letters with the re-direction stickers on all addressed to the new owners which I now have to send back to them... Well done Royal Mail!!!!If At First You Don't Succeed, Call It Version 1.00
