Hard to do wrong, but cracking the ball joint can prove difficult sometimes, even with the correct tool!
I concur ........ having had to remove the front axle off a defender 110 turn it over and beat the living daylights out of a ball joint with a sledge hammer to get it off ..... as nothing else would shift it ..... it eventually came apart ...... horrid things ..... and yet the other side came apart with a gentle tap ....... grrrrrrrrrr˙ʇuıɹdllɐɯs ǝɥʇ pɐǝɹ sʎɐʍlɐ

How much would be an average price to have a front wishbone replaced on her car ? Its a peugeot 406 year 2001.
She asked a mechanic in a small but reputable garage for a quote and he has said £40 for the part and £30 for labour. Does this sound about right ?
Thanks
It's more than cheap if the car has to go to the garage, main agent would have your/her pants off for twice that. Go with it;)I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.
Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)
Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed0
