I'm just back from my local and all the toys, though very few were 75% off. Got elc activity triangle £3 odd, doc who jigsaw £1.25, doc who toothbrush £2.?? Some elc soft toys for the baby for 1.50 each. Assistant told me they'd a load of Lego out this morning but it went in a flash. There was some Peppa pig stuff and Thomas stuff there. Mainly little things like soft toys, jigsaws, face cloths etc. This was trinty Pk in bolton. Hth
Note. It was only toys that were 75% off. The rest were still 50%0 -
Hello all
Has anyone been in the Maidenhead boots lately and know what the stock situation is like ? I live in Reading, and the Oracle Boots and Broad Street Boots are ok for stock, but don't have much of the things I really want (mens giftsets, No7 stuff, Ruby & Millie stuff). So was wondering if it would be worth going to Maidenhead on the day of the Sale rather than Reading. Anyone any idea ? And the whole 'is it happening', 'isn't it happening', 'when does it start' is just killing me. I love the Boots 75% sale and usually get most birthdays, etc sorted for the year from this, I will truly be gutted if there is no 75% sale !
Thanks !0 -
Rummaged through my gift stash from last year's 75% off sale and found 2 sanctuary gift sets, an Accessorise vanity case, 3 Miss Sixty perfume sets, a Morgan perfume set and 2 body butter gift sets, so DEFINITELY will be staying well clear this year. I even had a Jamie Oliver 'posh bread spread' set with a wee wooden chopping board. The spreads went in the bin as they went out of date in October. I'm ashamed to say this is NOT very 'money saving'Come ride with me, through the veins of history...

To be totally honest, last week I found 2 gift sets I bought in last years sale stashed in the back of a cupboard. I think I only paid a couple of quid each for them but it isn't really the point.
I put things away to "keep them safe" and then completely forget I ever bought them:oRetail is the only therapy that works0 -
I've just heard from a sales assistant in Boots that they are unsure when the 75% will be .. and they may not even have one!!
Last year in Manchester Centre they were piled high with stuff before the sale and this time there's barely anything at all. Sales assistant said they have done well with 50% off this year and usually sell roughly £4000 pr day in sale items and they've been trading at £16,000 a day!!!
I've still got a suitcase full of stuff from last year, so don't really NEED anything, but there are a couple of items I want if available .. and I have £30 ish in points.0 -
Thank you so much for your recommendations ladies. I'll treat myself to some Gok when the 75% thingy starts:)
Although TBH, if I treat myself to much more stuff, we'll be living on bread and butter for the rest of the month.
:rotfl:lol us too! Though maybe without the butter.
and the bread...0 -
Well if it isn't on, it isn't on. Let's face it none of actually needs the stuff, we just want it.
