As somebody as answered the 1st question I will answer the second. I asked about the fragrance sets in my local today and they said no that the fragrance sets stay at 50% or whatever discount they are at. HTH. By the way do any of you from the old thread remember how a couple of years ago people used to post pictures of their shop on here?

75% sale starts Friday 14th! (so im told)

All the gift sets and xmas stuff goes down to 50%. This year it started online 2pm on xmas eve.

Most stuff will have gone from the bigger stores, now tr ready to drop prices by 75%.

If you have a smaller local store thats not busy chances are they may have some good stuff left. A big store say like Brent cross and oxford street will have sold out of the major brands (soap and glory and sancturary).

Items in smaller stores are sometimes there as trials- i.e. will it sell. All items are there because each store gets told what to sell. So when they are told not to sell that item anymore or its been removed due to poor sales there are so bargins to be had! This will only be the smaller stores. Big ones sometimes have those shelfs of goods nearing expiry or that they want to get rid of but never as good as the smaller ones. Depends what you like!:j

I have just received a text from a friend who has just finished work @ Boots restocking shelves. She said sale 75% sale wouldn't start tomorrow and they don't know when it will. Usually it starts on 14th (3 weeks after the start of 50% sale) but last year it started later.

SA in my boots told me about 1 hour ago they had just been told the sale IS NOT happening Wednesday 12th. They don't know when it is.

I just wish id know one way or the other. With the 75% off sale only lasting a day or so online last year not sure id be convinced still not in store if not online. i traveled for 2 hours last year to get to a bigger boots as ours is only small. im coming to the conclussion im probably going to travel anyways as if turns out not in store at least it gives me a chance to check stock levels etc before sale starts so no loss as id kick myself more if i didnt go and turned out it wasnt online this year.:eek:

i am nipping to store at 8.45 to check.. if not i will try the friday... that makes it 3 weeks after the 50%... it is enough to drive ou crazy lol... i have my list.. i know what i need.. was in today and they still have lots left of what i want.. i just want it to happen so badly lol xxx
