are they worth the money? £120.00 seems a lot to me, are their any alternatives or what about a small electric fan suitably placed.

I hear tell on these forums a wee electric fan placed on the floor at the open door aiming into the room works just as well

You can buy an Eco fan off amazon.com for around £70 including import tax

I got one for my mum as her stove is set in and she says her room feels warmer without being stifling

Well worth the money but do not pay £120 buy it off the Amazon.com (usa) Site , Mine , a two blade version cost me under £70 including freight and took 10 days to deliver. It has made a fantastic difference to comfort conditions in the lounge.

It did - 23rd December. Lol

Anyway she appears to be using a bit less fuel and isn't complaining about being cooked sitting there which I'm taking to mean the old fella isn't feeling cold. So I'm saying it's doing it's job although I think a smaller one would have been better as placing it correctly was a tad difficult because of the flue pipe

Out of stock and I see price has jumped up now from £130 to £142

Thanks Suki I assume its from US hope there is no customs

I just found another fan on site I gave there just changed the site with prompt saying new model is out

That price includes customs

Both myself and anotherbaldrick have ordered from there with no problems whatsoever

Mine was a little late in arrival - christmas rush and bad weather - but arrived in the nick of time

thanks for answer any clue where on the forum i have done a search but only ecofans have come up
