I was quite impressed with this - popped into Asda for some yoghurts for my son (Asda is the ONLY supermarket in my area which stocks them) and picked up some little bits, did the price guarantee and still came out with a voucher for £2.

However it was interesting to see that Waitrose was only 60p more expensive and is infinitely closer to me. I was suprised as Waitrose always has the reputation of being an expensive shop.

    hi all,

I went on the Asda website recently and did the asda challenge "10% cheaper compared to all of the leading supermarkets"

I discovered another supermarket was cheaper so I was presented with a voucher. presented the voucher at the till, and staff did not know what to do. The till supervisor told me I was the first to present hi voucher, has anyone else presented a voucher following the Asda challenge?? whats the highest amount you were presented?

    I got 49p, and today I got, wait for t, 23p back

there've been people on here claiming to have gotten vouchers for £15+

but, 72p is better than a kick in the gerry halls

Funnily enough, when I used to check my Asda receipts (before the voucher offer), I'd find that around half the items were unavailable for comparison. I gave up.

I did the comparison last week and got a voucher for £2-49p. Just forgot to take it shopping last night, it has an expiry date of 7th Feb so hopefully I will remember it next week.

Just done this weeks and I have got £1-07p back.

Yes done it lots of times, and always make money from it, but all it means is you pay for the goods at Asda rather than elsewhere, even if they have to pay a little back they are still quids in and taking custom from elsewhere.

Just good marketing, you're still better off just going for the bargains and ignoring the other basket essentials and follow them from store to store.
