I must admit I cringed when they announced Tom Cruise is to play Lee Child's Jack Reacher.
  • Oh no Se999, I see him as Jason Statham !

I must admit I think the casting of the Hobbit is looking good though.

No Way!!!!!!!!!! Well, there is one I will not be rushing to see (although I do think Tom Cruise can be good in the right film)

Definitely Jason Statham I think, or even (although British) in my head I could see Christopher Eccleston making a good Jack Reacher. I see him as a bit brooding and unkempt you see. Not necessarily good looking in the classic sense really.

Jonathan Kellerman is good - so is his wife, Faye Kellerman. The trouble is that they both worked within a very tight genre and didn't seem able to break free from it. Sad, really.
But how can you know what you want till you get what you want and you see if you like it?

I know, both are excellent writers.

So who would be Alex Delaware for all of you I wonder?

Mmmmm! In my head, Alex Delaware is blond, hair brushed back and I never thought of him as 'sexy'. Don't know why? Oh, and he wears white shirts with the collar open but the sleeves down - ironed to a crease.

I think I should get out more. :rotfl:
