Cheri!!! Congratulations! Paying off Norty Norbert is a real accomplishment - definite stream-splashing in your immediate future!2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Thanks. I have to admit that was the first personal loan I ever took out. It was for me to buy my lovely little fiesta mostly but also helped me to get the roof repaired on my last house. I am so pleased that it is paid off but have to admit that it will simply be diverted to other areas that need to be addressed but I wanted to concentrate on that one once my fiesta was gone. Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Bleurgh to greyness, yay to paying off norty loan
Feels good!
And, great that you're diverting the money to other debt, so easy to get sucked into using it and depending on it.
Ta for the chat yesterday, was loverly and you really cheered me up!!!!!
And, thank you for the post you've made elsewhere - utterly gobsmacked and humbled - you could mirror alot of what you've said directly to yourself - definitely an inspiration to us all cheri and going for what you find important in life xx
Peedie is sleeping on the sofa, but sends his regards to moo. He's had a walk around the boats in stromness this morning - waiting for the ferry to leave, very early, he wasn't best pleased and doesnt' really find boats that interesting.Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.
Total debt as of 28/4/19 £7867.38:eek:
minus 112.06 = £7755.32:money:

Thank you Pippi. Moo would be very jealous of Peedie seeing boats at an early hour. He is currently feeling sorry for himself as he is on different food and it isnt really agreeing with him. Mr C would not be told when we stopped off in Mr T's on Friday that changing him over from Wagg to Mr T in one go would not be a good move. Hey ho........ sorry TMI
Yes, the money will have to be diverted if I am to start moving forward. In other news I will have £200 less income from next month as I am reverting to my normal position from this week. I am pleased that I will have less responsibility and be able to concentrate on my own work but a little  at how much I am going to have to juggle around. Really hope that the flat sells quickly. Have started to talk to Mr C about possible ways to increase income. I would be more than happy to take a second job but my contract is for full time (5 days over 7) and I have to be able to work evenings too. I never know when I will get a booking for a workshop or event so it makes it really difficult to organise myself to have set days/evenings to do things. This is the biggest reason why I have not made any friends locally as I have been unable to go to college etc where I could meet people.
So whilst things are tough this month it will get even tighter from next month. Thinking caps on as I have nothing left to sell on ebay that would be worth selling. In fact when I have assessed what I actually own I reckon that my worldly belongings would have fit in the back of my fiesta(and that would include Moo and Coco in there) . Not a bad thing because I am not a material kind of girl. Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. Oooh didn't realise you were switching jobs (kind of) cheri. Hope it's a bit more relaxing if nothing else. Thinking caps on re the money though xx0

Not actually switching jobs Cheery, I am dropping some line management responsibility and reverting to just my normal job. I got paid extra for the responsibility. Will be glad to get back to just having to worry about my own work instead of the whole team.
So today has been a strange day. It has been grey and pouring with rain here all day. We decided that we would go along to the beach anyway and take a flask of coffee. Now it is only about 5 miles away (the one that we went to today) and it was glorious sunshine and blue sky there - beautiful. Back home now to the rain and the greyness. Travelling back we realised that the black clouds are just sitting over the valley that we live in.
So with money in mind it is time for meal planning. Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, I will try again tomorrow -- Mary Anne Radmacher0 -

So it is is silly o'clock and I have been awake for 2 hours after going to bed and falling asleep very quickly at 11pm. Is this an age thing. It seems that I can never get more than 3-4 hours unbroken sleep in per night. Tonight I gave up after an hour and half and got up. Mind, Moo was crying to go out too by that time.
So a chamomile tea and back to bed I think. Back to work tomorrow. First day in after 2 weeks. Dreading the inbox. Then away for 2 days/1 night up North. Oh do I really want to spend 2 days talking to the public when I feel this tired? I though that you were supposed to feel refreshed after a holiday. I am going back to work feeling more mentally exhausted than before I finished. Whats that all about.
Ok brain dump over - off to bed. Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, I will try again tomorrow -- Mary Anne Radmacher0
