Sounds like you've had a fabulous day cheri! :T :T :T Have a chip for me! :j :j :j0

Mmmmmm! I can smell those chippy chips from here Cheri! I hope you've drowned them in chippy sauce!
Here's to many more days grinning form ear to ear!

Your day off sounds perfect after the big day, especially chippy chips, yum yum!
Hope you get the accounts sorted. Can you go to a branch and do a sit in until they sort it :eek:One small step for ME, one giant leap for my family!

Thanks, chips were lovely. It is the all the legal people that are causing the problems ME otherwise I would have a sit in. The saga is continuing today. Unfortunately the solicitor that I dealt with originally cannot get involved as it is some years since this piece of work was done and several changes in the meantime. What is that saying "a game of two halves"? Well my week has been a week of full on hobnobbing! A meeting with the queen, followed by a bump into Fiona Bruce and then yesterday a neighbour to some rather lovely John Deer tractors. Oh dear, I am now a fully fledged country bumpkin because I was really taken with the tractors. Quite fancy on in fact.
Bit of alarming news about my SIL yesterday who has been diagnosed with MS and been made redundant all in one week! I really feel for her and wish I was closer to help out a bit.
Puts the whole of my life back into perspective really.
Not doing so well on the budgets this month. So many unexpected costs are popping up which means that my savings are taking a hammering but still the savings are there as my buffer for just this kind of thing. Reminds me about FW asking if I am a hoarder or an investor. So I am investing in my unexpected bills :rotfl::rotfl:
Had to cancel my haircut that I was due to have the week before meeting the queen because I knew that I would have to stretch my money but today my hair is really annoying me. I realise that I much prefer it shorter. Might have to route out a cheap hairdresser. I do miss being able to go to the local college for a student haircut. Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. Morning cheri
Really bad about your sil - we're all thinking of her here. (())
Laughing at the notion for a tractor - I'd love one which is why I think I love my mini tractor lawn mower (BRB) so much
Hope you find a cheap hairdresser - walk in appointments are often cheaper than a full one and I've often asked for a dry cut rather than a wash and style - which takes the price down lower - can you check out the price of those?
Hugs and hope you have a great day today

Morning Pippi, fancy a cuppa. Thanks for the note about SIL. She is fab. Spent ages talking to her last night and she has such a positive attitude despite it all. Thats why I love my family and miss them because no matter what there is always one of us that can pull the others back into the real world.
I couldnt sleep and so I am slobbing on sofa. First day off in ages when I have no commitments and I couldnt even lie in. Typical
Yes to do a pippi is very cool. The tractors were great, I was talking to the man every time I got a break in the crowds, between him on one side and the log burning stove man on the other side I decided that I was in a very good spot for the day. You are very lucky to have BRB. By the way, I am missing your blog posts so will try to catch up today. Love the wellies on the picture! Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Aw cheri I hope you're OK
I'm not getting upto much and I've got alot to do!
You're alway very good at thinking of everyone - x
I'm not great at lying in but I woke at 5am and then didn't really get back to dozing. Typical eh - both having an actual NO work day off and up early! Rainy here can't even get laundry out!Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

Cheri, be careful with this one. Last summer I was very pleased that I found a cheap hairdresser - lasted a week. Which is exactly the time it takes for the difference between a really good haircut and a not so good one to show.
I will say, most of the time this is a false saving - my expensive haircut lasts for 6-8 weeks (hair grows is shape after); my cheap one looked really bad within ten days.
As to money - you are still a hoarder, my dear. Bills are forcing you to spend but what would you do without this?
