Me disappear NEVER you are all stuck with me. Hmm nearly the same as your name there.

Ok, its Saturday, the sun is shining, the lambs are gamboling around in the field opposite and I feel the need to completely chill out. MSE style of course. SO, coscous on, meditteranean veg roasting in the oven, fruit salad made. Looking for fold up chairs and a good book, then off to the beach before the tourists start arriving in a couple of weeks. Making the most of living here and about time too.

Hey Pippi, good to se you over my fence. Hope all is well with you.

Well Mr C has a job interview tomorrow so that is good news. Work is calming down a little so I have a whole week of working from home which is good news as I have lots of admin to catch up on.
Moneywise, things are very tight this month. Nothing on ebay this weekend I just couldnt face sitting putting stuff on. I do now have boxes of things to leave the building but I am deciding whether to bother with car boot as Mr C doesnt fancy doing one at all and I have taken on board the advice re not going on my own. Hmmm something to think about.

In other news Austria is still plodding along, after the flurry of activity last week it has all gone very quiet. Need to sort out renting the flat out instead of selling I think. In the short time it seems the much better option which has happened due to circumstance rather than me deciding but with hindsight it might be a better financial decision than selling at the moment. The agent reckons that in 12 months it will have risen in value again which would be good if that is right.

I just cant get my brain into any kind of gear other than reverse at the moment so hopefully my rambling will help. I need a Cheery Daff plan I will put it on my to do list for later today. I always focus when sitting at my desk rather than in the comfy chair with a cuppa.

Well, it is silly oclock and yet again I am sitting in the chair drinking tea and longing to be able to sleep. I cant even blame this on Moo because he is snoring his head off in his new found bed area which is the top of the stairs outside the bedroom door. Eerily quiet and really rather peaceful. So many things going round in my head at the moment.
Just checked banking, it looks tight but I think we will get there. Not really impressed but just had to agree to the outlaws coming to stay for Easter. Last time they (over) stayed Dad caused a row between OH and me. I cannot get my head around their relationship at all. Dad is a complete control freak, Mr C fights against it in his own way but then after the stay he said what a lovely time we all had  I think he lives in denial. Oh well, its only 4 days :(

Right off to try to get more sleep.

  • I second that!

Because Mr C was going back and living at home due to work has he never got away from the "you will do what we say in our house" situation?

Here's the nagging bit - Get that flat rented and get the income in - one less worry!!!!!!!!!!!!!

One or two carboots will get rid of loads of stuff that you cant ebay, it is worth it, even if you hate them as DH does.

At least working from home this week you can have a cuddle and a nap with Moo if you need x
